Mongolian And Chinese Horse-Related Words And The Cultural Comparative Research

Language is a living fossil in social activities, vocabulary is an element of the language directly related to national life, psychology and culture. Therefore, the number of the word that related to a certain thing in the language directly reflects the status of this thing in the social life and people's familiar and relational degree. All the time, the "horse" has occupied an important position in the Mongolian and Chinese people's production activities and social life. So the words related to " horse " are very abundant in quantity, and involves the extensive field in Mongolian and Chinese language. And it has formed the horse culture of national characteristics. This paper carefully compares the classification of the word related to "horse" in Chinese and Mongolian language, and excavates two race's aesthetic value orientation and cultural difference, and the reasons for these differences has discussed thoroughly.
