In teaching Chinese as foreign language,teaching material,which is a main basis of teacher’s teaching progress and the main reference of students’ learning,have undoubtedly and important influence.It’s vital for students to master Chinese vocabulary effectively whether the teaching material can translate Chinese vocabulary well.Students’understanding of the meaning is the key to use vocabulary well and is also the basis of students’ improving.The quality and pattern of Chinese vocabulary’s paraphrase have a direct bearing on students’ accurately understand.Thus,it’s of great importance to research the paraphrase of Chinese vocabulary in teaching material.This paper collects the first-degree polyseme of’Chinese course,(Revised Edition)and ’Developing Chinese,Intermediate Comprehensive Course’(I)according to the Syllabus of Chinese words,try to find the characteristics of the paraphrase of the first-degree polyseme,try to analyze the patterns and ways of the paraphrase.This paper hopes to contribute something to the research of textbook compilation.
