Digitization is the future development model of dictionaries.Currently,mobile terminals such as mobile phones and pad are highly popularized.The mobile terminal-based Chinese learner's dictionary have gradually replaced the paper version of the Chinese learner's dictionary,becoming an important tool for Chinese learners'vocabulary learning.However,at present,there is no systematic theoretical framework for the Chinese learner's dictionary based on mobile terminals,and the compilation technology is not yet mature.There are also many problems in the contents of dictionaries.This article focuses on the problem of paraphrase and illustration on Chinese learner's dictionary App.We selected three foreign language Chinese learner's dictionaries based on mobile terminals(Pleco,Train Chinese and Hanping)as the research subjects,and selected 280 sample words,which cover the words of Level A,B,C and D from the National Syllabus of Graded Words and Characters for Chinese Proficiency.We used the sampled term to examine the imperfections in paraphrase and illustration of the Chinese learner's dictionaries based on mobile terminals,and propose specific amendments.In the sense of paraphrase,we cut through the three perspectives of the content,the method,and the language of paraphrase to summarize and sort out the existing problems.In terms of illustration,we examine the problem of the forms,the content,and the matching of illustrations.Considering that Chinese confusable words mostly appear in the form of“the same translated words in English”,we randomly selected 40 pairs of confusable words from the 1700 Groups of Frequently Used Chinese Synonyms to further examine how Chinese learner's dictionary App's paraphrase and illustration handling the distinctive informations.Based on the above investigation,we believe that there are many deficiencies in the paraphrase and illustration of Chinese learner's dictionary App,mainly due to the fact that the lexicographers failed to effectively combine dictionary compilation experience and Electronic dictionary editing technology,and the arbitrariness of the lexicography was strong,resulting in Chinese learner's dictionary App's export-oriented and learning characteristics unremarkable,and the advantages of mobile intelligent terminals cannot be effectively used.It is difficult to meet the needs of a new generation of Chinese learners.On this basis,we try to build a paradigmatic and illustrative framework model based on the mobile terminal's Chinese learner's dictionary.Taking the concrete word“??”as an example,we design a sample excerpt for the Chinese learner's dictionary based on the mobile terminal,and hope this sample excerpt can provide a reference for the compilation of mobile terminal-based Chinese learner's dictionaries.
