Every individual who enters the workplace after graduating from school must undergo a transition from "student" to "professional".In the meantime,Individuals are in the exploratory stage of career development, and they need to conduct self-examination,role identification, and career exploration through learning. The final selection of jobs and initial employment are the inevitable career construction processes for each individual.career adaptability,as the core of career construction, enables individuals to achieve a smooth transition with match in an ever-changing environment, and directly determines the individual's transition from school to work.Based on the original research, this paper introduces the two variables of job role identification and proactive work behavior. It explores career adaptation, job role identification, and mutual prediction of school-to-work transition over time from the individual's attitude level. From the individual's behavioral level,we can explore career adaptation, proactive work behavior, and the mutual prediction of the transition from school to work over time.Based on the theory of career construction, this study distributed questionnaires on Career Adaptation,From School-To-Work Transition scales, and questionnaires to 297 subjects in Shaanxi,Beijing,Shanghai,Jiangsu,Gansu, and Shandong provinces. The Job Role Identification and Proactive Work Behavior Scale were conducted three times in total, each time separated by three months. The time spanned one week before the subject's graduation, officially participated in the work for three months, and officially participated in the work for six months. The data collected by SPSS 19.0 and AMOS 21.0 were subjected to differential test, correlation analysis, and longitudinal study. The final results were as follows:(1)From the week before the individual graduated to formally employed for 6 months, the scores of career adaptability and job role identification scores gradually increased;the proactive work behavior scores did not change significantly;the transition from school to work showed a tendency to increase first and then decrease again.(2)From the week before the individual graduated to the formal entry of three months, and from the formal entry of three months to the formal entry of six months, the adaptability of careers, the identification of working roles, and the proactive work behavior gradually became stable over two time intervals.Elevated, and the stability from school to work has decreased at two intervals.(3)The career adaptability in the week prior to graduation has a predictive effect on the identification of job roles for three months after entry into service. The three-month job role identification after entry into employment has a predictive effect on the transition from school to work six months after entry into service. The latter three months of working roles identification that career adaptability in the week prior to graduation is fully intermediate from the transition from school to work six months after entry.(4)Career adaptability in the week prior to graduation has a predictive effect on active prowork activities three months after entry into service.Three months' proactive work behavior has a predictive effect on the transition from school to work six months after entry into service. The last three months of proactive work behavior have a full mediating role in the transition from school to work six months after entry into employment.Through longitudinal studies, this study found the mutual predictions of career adaptability, job role identification, and school-to-work transition,as well as the mutual prediction of career adaptation, proactive work behavior, and transition from school to work.It provides support for college employment guidance programs, has guiding significance for the development of individual careers, and provides assistance for the human resources management of the company.
