Along with the continuous development of globalization and the comprehensive improvement in national strength of China,the development of the business of teaching Chinese as a second language is in full swing in carrying forward the Chinese culture.In decades,with the constant exploration and research of experts and scholars,more and more attention was payed to culture teaching not just payed to language teaching as beginning in the business of of teaching Chinese as a second language.More and more people of teaching Chinese as a second language begin to try and practice to put the traditional culture into the teaching of teaching Chinese as a second language from the perspectives of different cultures and with different teaching forms of education.The auther take the overseas students as the teaching objects and try to carry out the teaching of culture by combining the local culture with the the special class from the perspective of local culture and take the “mud mud dog” culture in Huaiyang as the breakthrough point and take the special class as the teaching form.Based on the determining of the research purpose,meaning as well as the analysis and summary of the current status of related research,the main body is divided into four major parts: the teaching of local cultures in the class of teaching Chinese as a second language,the“mud mud dogs”of Huaiyang-the living fossil of the folk art,the teaching design of combining the“mud mud dogs” of Huaiyang and the class of teaching Chinese as a second language,the teaching reflection.The first part,the teaching of local cultures in the class of teaching Chinese as a second language analyzes the necessity and feasibility of the teaching of local cultures from the four aspects: the perspectives of local culture,teaching form,the analysis of teaching object and the analysis of teaching requirements.The second part,the“mud mud dogs”of Huaiyang-the living fossil of the folk art,which show us the rich cultural connotation of mud mud dogs from three aspects:the summary of the cultural background of mud mud dogs in Huaiyang;the artistic beauty and cultural connotation of mud mud dogs in Huaiyang and the beauty of the technology of creative interpretation of mud mud dogs in Huaiyang.The third part,the teaching design of combining the“mud mud dogs” of Huaiyang and the class of teaching Chinese as a second language,which integrate a variety of teaching methods.Let students know and feel the culture of worship on the totem and reproduction in the heart of Chinese people by stories and games.The fourth part,teaching reflection,in which,the author analyzed and summarized the problems,advantages and disadvantages in the implementation of the course teaching design.So as to have a better guiding effect on the education practice later.This paper based on the study of combining the local culture and the class of teaching Chinese as a second language and make a special course teaching design by taking the“mud mud dogs” of Huaiyang for example.Thus to make the Chinese learners can get an intensive experience of chinese traditional civilization and discover the charming of Chinese culture further while they study and understand the culture of specific areas deeply.
