Modern China’s position in the global economy can be compared to the one that England had in the 18-19 century.At that time,England played a significant role in the world’s economy and politics,the English language classes were introduced in numerous countries.Therefore,English became a language of international communication.Nowadays,due to substantial economic,social and cultural growth in China,more people were motivated to study Chinese,Uzbekistani students are no exception.Chinese letters,voices,grammar are very different from other languages.For example,Chinese characters are pictographs and Chinese phonetics have four tones.Chinese mainly uses word order and function words to express grammatical meaning instead of changing part of speech,etc.It is very common for non-native speakers to make mistakes in pronunciation,grammar and vocabulary.The Uzbekistani students as well encounter a great many difficulties in learning Chinese,of which the most prevailing is "Ba" sentence.Based on my own experience in learning Chinese and using Chinese to communicate,the author believes that the "Ba" sentence is a difficult point for Uzbekistan Chinese learners.In order to find out Uzbekistan’s students’ learning of the "Ba" sentence,the author used questionnaires to investigate.The content of the questionnaire focused on the common types of "Ba" sentences.The author classified the students’ answers in the questionnaire and found out what they did wrong,and summed up the types of errors in the "Ba" sentence,and the reasons for the errors.This paper is divided into 7 chapters.The first chapter explains the significance of the study,describes goals and research methods.The second chapter introduces the "Ba" sentence usage patterns.The third section focuses on the comparison of native speakers’ and Uzbekistani leaners’ use of "Ba" sentences.The fourth chapter is a report on the most common mistakes that Uzbekistani students make.The fifth chapter presents an analysis of the questionnaire data.The sixth chapter contains recommendations about formulas on teaching “ba” sentences.The seventh chapter is the conclusion.
