| Due to the special nature of the parts of speech,the multi-category words have always been a key and difficult point in the vocabulary teaching of Chinese as a foreign language.In the multi-category words collected in the outline of the new HSK vocabulary level,there are a large number of the muti-category words combined with verbs and adjectives,accounting a larder proportion.In addition,as the verbs and adjectives are often used as predicates,they are even collectively classified by many scholars"predication" sharing some similar grammatical features,so the foreign students studting Chinese are easy to confuse these two parts of speech,which also increases the difficulty of mastering the verb and adjective trans-classed word.Therefore,the foreign students studting Chinese often make regular errors while using the verb and adjective trans-classed word.Taking the 133 verb and adjective trans-classed words in the New HSK Vocabulary Level Syllabus as the object of study,this paper has made a statistical analysis on minstaken usage of the verb and adjective trans-classed word in the corpus by searching the HSK dynamic composition corpus of Beijing Language and Culture University.The first chapter of the paper is the introduction,which includes the reasons for selecting the topic and the objective of the research,briefly summarizing the history and present situation of the researches on the verb and adjective trans-classed words,and explains the research theory and method used in this paper as well as preliminarily collates the mistake corpus of the verb and adjective trans-classed words.The second chapter of the paper is to analyze the main types of mistakes in the verb and adjective trans-classed words and the percentage of all kinds of mistakes in statistics,so it is concluded that the main mistake types of are the verb and adjective trans-classed words wrongly replace the other words,the omission and addition of the verb and adjective trans-classed words,and conversion errors.Among the four types,the number of wrongly repalce is the biggest,the proportion of which is more than 85%,and the number of omissions is the least,accounting for less than 2%,while the conversion errors which is unique in the multi-category words accounts for 5.8%.Based on the four types of mistakes,this chapter further subdivides the types of errors according to the specific corpus,which has laid the foundation for finding the causes of errors.The third chapter,taking concrete examples as evidence,analyzes the reasons for the formation reasons for the errors of the multi-category words from the perspective of the language ontology,the learners,and the teaching.It also analyzes the processing of the verb and adjective trans-classed words in the series textbooks named Road to Success and the comprehensive course textbooks named Developing Chinese,and puts forward some suggestions for the compilation of teaching materials in light of the actual practice.Finally,the last chapter summarizes the conclusions,innovations,and deficiencies of the research. |
