This article takes the image of Jiangxi in the Ming and Qing Dynasties maps as the object of study.Through collecting Chinese and foreign maps of the Ming and Qing Dynasties, analyzes the characteristics of the Jiangxi part, examines the drawing background of the painter, and explores the different image changes in different perspectives of Jiangxi.Except the introduction and conclusion, the main body is divided into three chapters. The second chapter mainly discusses the image of Jiangxi in the national map.In this chapter,we mainly select the “Geography Map of Jiangxi ” in the “Dao Ming Yi Tong Zhi”,the “Jiangxi Map” of the “Kangxi Emperor's Map,” and Jiaqing's “Daiqing Unification Guide to the Whole World” as the main objects of analysis.Contrast all kinds of maps at the same time. The general plan of the country is drawn mostly by the schematic drawing of traditional Chinese landscape paintings in order to promote the unification of the political order of the great unification. The depiction of Jiangxi and other "places" is to strengthen the order of the dynasty. The third chapter mainly discusses the Jiangxi image of foreign language maps.It mainly analyzes the image of Jiangxi period in the "Daming Map" of Japan, the "New China Map" of Italy's defending country, and the map of European China in the 18 th century. The East and the West in the Ming and Qing Dynasties were deeply influenced by Chinese culture.Among them, the understanding of China and Jiangxi period was also greatly influenced by the map of China's Eastern Chuan, but it also had some of its own characteristics. After the opening of the new route in Europe, due to trade and missionary needs,A large number of Chinese maps have been compiled and published, and the understanding of China and Jiangxi has also undergone a process from vagueness to gradual accuracy. In general, such maps are drawn by third parties, and their selectivity is very obvious.China and Jiangxi present themselves as "others".The fourth chapter mainly discusses the Jiangxi image of the province's maps.It mainly introduces the three atlases of Wanli period "The Whole Province of Jiangxi Province",Kangxi period "Thirteen Houses in Jiangxi Province" and the Tongzhi period "Jiangxi Province".The compilation of the Atlas of the province is dominated by the government, focusing on the description of the official domination space, and is sometimes an indispensable reference for local administration.Although this type of map on local geographic information has been published in detail or omitted,it is centered around Jiangxi's compilation. It not only seeks to unfurl the "local" development of the unification political order, but also leaves a lot for the expression of local knowledge.Space reflects the coexistence of dynasty values and "locality."The research in this paper shows that the map is a special text based on the reworking of objective things by the painter.Through the selection of color, composition, location, shape and drawing method of the map,the mapper integrates his own cultural ideas and values into the map he is drawing.Even with the continuous development of mapping techniques, the geographical image of Jiangxi is still strongly selective.
