The course of Chinese art education in twentieth Century,after a century of development and the unremitting efforts of a number of experts and scholars,its context and academic system have become complete.But in a deep understanding of the changes in different regions and environment,we will find that many art teachers and artists have played an important role in the process of a certain period and region,and the students of enlightenment and influence play a role in the development of art today.But due to the passage and change of time,these fine arts teachers and art workers are not understood by future generations.And today,with the increasingly perfect discipline of art history,there are few related articles and articles published.In the Fujian area of this article,in recent years,some Fujian artists have played a certain influence on the country and the international stage.However,there is still a lack of professional team to carry out the relevant work on the course of art education in Fujian.Temporarily forming part of the blanks is a pity.As one of the series of studies,this article starts with Zhang Houjin,one of the founders of the original Jimei Normal College of Art(now the Academy of Fine Arts of Jimei University)and one of the founders of the Xiamen Watercolor Painting Association.It is also the first academic paper on the case study of Zhang Houjin's art education.Through the first-hand literature materials,photos,files,videos,interviews,letters,textbooks and so on,this paper combs and explores the background and teaching process of Zhang Houjin.Taking the teaching practice from 50 to 70 s in twentieth Century as a time node,this is also a period of change and turbulence in Chinese society.And the true course of the art educators in the same period,combined with the materials I have mastered,can try to make a relatively clear presentation of the teaching and living conditions of Zhang Houjin,the practice and concept of art teaching under the face of an era.This article will also refer to the clue of the development of art workers and colleges in the same period,which can play a certain role in material retrieval and promotion.To supplement and study some materials lacking in the course of art education,to enrich some academic data.
