A Study Of “Socialist Education Theater” In Early 1960s

After the 10 th Plenary Session of the 8th Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party in 1962,a lot of drama creations featuring “ Socialist Education Movements ” emerged,which were important components of the literature images in the 1960s?However,the past studies didn't pay enough attentions to these dramas,and researchers commented these creations with expressions like “ conceptualization ” and “literature diagram for politics”?By conducting an integrated survey,we found out that issues like “conceptualization” are present ?But these dramas represented a literary form reflecting many social realities and difficulties faced by the socialistic practices at that time,including the thinking on possible solutions?Therefore,this article takes the drama text analysis of this special period as a basic approach,and by combining drama text with issues of that time,the sense of time and reality contained in the drama text are highlighted in order to elaborate how these dramas reflected on the society of that time under the disguise of “education” themes?...
