Research On The Tibetan Image Of Chinese And Western Tibetan Documentaries

Documentary as a reality testimony and historical reflection,is an important medium for cross-cultural exchanges and dissemination.Tibetan imagery records the changes in the social life of Tibetan people and is a re-written version of Tibetan ecological landscape and cultural landscape.Documentary creators both at home and abroad show beautiful and wonderful Tibetan landscapes and religious beliefs through Tibetan images,and also build a Tibetan image with intertwined imagination and desire.The author is concerned about:what kind of national psychology and discourse rights are produced in the Tibetan documentary film,along with what historical context,and how to present the Tibetan image with cultural identity?Is there any discourse hegemony and self-imagination behind this image?And what position and angle should we stand to watch Tibetan documentary and recognize the image of Tibet in documentary documentary?This article defines the category of Tibetan image research from the perspective of documentary filmmaking in Tibet.This paper reviews the development of documentary films in Tibet and the world at home and abroad and the evolution of the image of the possession of the land.It also discusses the differences in the possession of the Tibetan image and the deep-rooted rights that cause this difference.Therefore,it can give some suggestions for cross-cultural transmission of Tibetan image and Tibetan documentary creation.Based on the national identity and cultural identity psychology from the perspective of the state,the Western cultural imagination and misreading of the foreign image are the main reasons why the documentary directors in the West establish different images of Tibet and Tibet in documentary films in Tibet.In addition,the interaction between different artistic concepts and rights of discourse in China and the West also profoundly affects the construction of the Tibetan image in the Tibetan-documentary documentary.
