The documentary as a vital carrier of real life record has been given a new mission in the era.Tibet has attracted much attention both at home and abroad as a geographical landscape,cultural communication or political field.Tibetan documentaries are not only the record and reproduction of real events,but also important for the construction of national images.While the Tibetan documentaries cater to the changing times,many new features have emerged in the creation and dissemination of images.This paper mainly focuses on TV documentaries and cinema documentary films from 2015 to 2018.Through text perusal,historical analysis,field investigation,data analysis and other methods,combined with the theory of film and television,audience psychology,aesthetics,etc.,the documentary’s authenticity and artistry are combined for analysis.Starting from the ontology of documentary creation,explore the image creation law and cultural value of the documentary film of the new era.The paper is divided into the following sections:The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly explains the reasons for the topic selection and the overall characteristics of the current Tibetan documentary.After that,the significance of the research is clarified,and the related concepts involved in the paper are analyzed to determine the scope,ideas and methods of this paper.The second chapter analyzes the materials of Tibetan documentary creation from the perspective of image creation.Firstly,it explores the image selection of geographical landscape and interprets the uniqueness of Tibetan geography.Secondly,it pays attention to people’s behavioral activities and reflects the life emotions under the religious culture.Finally,it analyzes the construction of image space and presents the beauty of Tibetan space.The third chapter starts from the audio-visual technique,combined with the creation methods of audio-visual art and semiotics,analyzes the international creative techniques of the new era Tibetan documentary from narrative,lens shooting,sound and regional symbols,in order to be closer to the aesthetic needs of the new era.Better communicate national culture.The fourth chapter explores the creative appreciation of Tibetan documentaries from the perspective of audience appreciation and the psychological needs and aesthetic experience of the audience in the new era.On this basis,interpret the aesthetic relationship between the documentary and the audience,and the functional role of the Tibetan documentary on the audience,in order to meet the expectations of the audience and try to achieve the fusion of horizons.The fifth chapter starts from the transmission of themes and values,and combines the sharing of images to explore the value identification of documentary expression and the strategy of external communication.
