Language is a social phenomenon.Chinese,as a language with long history,plays a pivotal role in international communications.China and Japan are inextricably linked in language culture since ancient times.The Chinese verb "zuo" is equivalent to those of Japanese verb "suru" from the deformation of "sa".Moreover,the Chinese "zoo" belongs to class A in the outline level of HSK vocabulary,which puzzles many Japanese students while acquiring the Chinese verb "zuo".Therefore,on the basis of linguistic contrastive theory,this paper analyses the verb "zuo" in Chinese and "suru" in Japanese both semantically and grammatically,and investigates the corpus of the dynamic composition of Beijing Language and Culture University and the corpus of Japanese students in the interlanguage corpus of Jinan University.Consequently,this paper sums up the types and characteristics of errors,analyzes the causes of errors through accuracy statistics and analysis on Japanese students' error corpus,and provides teaching suggestions based on the research findings so as to push the teaching Chinese as a foreign language.This paper falls into five chapters as follow.This paper falls into five chapters as follow.Chapter 1 is the introduction,which introduces the reason of choosing the topic and the serious misuse in the acquisition of "zuo" by Japanese students.Then,the previous research on the Chinese "zuo" and Japanese "suru" is followed,including an overview of ontology research on Chinese "zuo" and Japanese "suru",and the view of the study on Chinese as a foreign language.Conclusively,the research methods and objectives are discussed and the source corpus are clarified in this paper.Chapter 2 is a comparative analysis between Chinese "zuo" and Japanese "suru".Through analysing the verb "zuo" in Chinese and "suru"in Japanese both semantically and grammatically,this chapter examines the correlations between the acquisition of "zuo" and the influence of"suru".Chapter 3 conducts an error analysis on the acquisition of "zuo"among Japanese students.By collecting the materials of the usage of "zuo"of Japanese students from the corpus of the dynamic composition of Beijing Language and Culture University and the corpus of Japanese students in the interlanguage corpus of Jinan University.This chapter concludes five types of error in using the verb "zuo",and makes corrections and concrete analysis of the cited error examples.Chapter 4 is the results of the analysis according to error,summarizing the reasons for the errors made by Japanese students while acquiring the verb "zuo",and proposing two teaching suggestions for the teachers based on that.Chapter 5 is the conclusion,which summarizes and points out the shortcomings of the whole paper.
