The Chinese character learning strategy refers to the learners’ understanding of Chinese character learning and the specific actions and methods to promote the learning of Chinese characters.In recent years,the academic circles of Chinese as a foreign language(TCFL)have become increasingly rich in the study of learning subjects,but there are still few studies on the learning strategy of the nationalized Chinese characters,and the study of Chinese characters learning strategies for the students of the Donggan ethnic group in Central Asia is very few.This paper selects the Chinese character learning strategies of the Dong gan students of Central Asia,who are less studied at present,as a topic.And this paper is on the basis of the previous studies,based on the actual learning situation of the students of the Donggan nationality elementary level in Northwest Normal University.By means of questionnaire survey and case interview,the relevant learning strategies of Chinese characters are obtained through the investigation and analysis.Try to provide some inspiration for the students in the primary stage of Donggannationality.This paper is divided into five parts:The first part is the introduction to clarify the origin of the topic,research contents,research purposes,research significance and research methods.The second part is a summary of the research.The author combs the concept,classification and research status at home and abroad of learning strategies by consulting relevant materials.The third part is about the investigation content and the result analysis of the Chinese character learning strategy of the students in the primary stage of Donggannationality.Through the investigation to understand the specific situation of the Donggan foreign students’ Chinese character learning,and to analyze the results of the survey and to sum up the most frequently used and least used Chinese characters learning strategies.In the 4th part,4 learners were selected for a case interview,and a conclusion was drawn by comparing the four learners’ learning strategy choices.Part 5th analyzes the results of investigation and analysis,discusses the effective learning strategies of Chinese characters,and puts forward feasible suggestions for teaching and teaching materials according to the specific situation of learners.
