Chinese classical opera has formed a clear division of the role system in the long period of performance practice.The legend of the Ming Dynasty is not only an important stage of the complete system of the opera's role,it is also the key period of the mature performance of the Opera.The development of the role system is closely related to the development of the Opera.As the main male figure in the legend of the Ming Dynasty,"Shengjia" has an irreplaceable effect.This article will take?Sixty Operas?as an example and combine the two points of view of literary play and stage performance to explore the role of the Ming Dynasty legend.The first part,carding the origin of the name of"Shengjiao" and the process of its evolution.The name of"Sheng" is derived from the custom of ancient language and the self name of the men in the Song Dynasty and Yuan Dynasty."Shengjiao" origin from "Moni" in the Song and Jin Dynasty's Zaju,Zhengmo of the Yuan Zaju is equivalent to " Sheng"in the southern opera.In the southern opera,"Shengjiao"first appeared officially.On the basis of inheriting the tradition of southern opera,Ming Dynasty legend established a system of role based on "Sheng and Dan",the division of"Shengjiao" business is more meticulous and professional.The second part from the three aspects of costumes,stage performance and Fanchuan art to study the stage art of"Shengjiao"."Shengjiao" play of the Ming Dynasty legend are on the basis of absorbing the characteristics of the ancient costume,combined with the style of life dress in the Ming Dynasty,processing and beautifying.The spoken parts,aria,performing arts of "Shengjiao" gradually exquisite,It propelled the prosperity of the Ming Dynasty legend.They together with Fanchuan art,for the development of "Shengjiao"business in the later opera and lay a solid foundation.The third part classifies the figure of "Shengjiao" in?Sixty Operas?.Classified according to the inner pursuit and main deeds of the characters,among them,Some of the pursuit of fame and career figures,some persistent pursuit of love,some stick to the moral character,also some ordinary or even flawed characters,that embody the author' s attitude of admiration,praise,or warning.The fourth part is a summary of the dramatic function of"Shengjiao".The analysis of the role of "Shengjiao" in four aspects:deducing the theme of the drama,promoting the development of the plot,adjusting the rhythm of the plot,and mobilizing the audience's emotion.Conclusion:The development and maturity of the Ming Dynasty legend are closely related to the entirely improvement of the various role category and the overall improvement of the performing arts of the Ming Dynasty,this has left a far-reaching artistic tradition for "Shengjiao" business of the later generations.
