With the development of Business English classroom teaching of secondary vocational schools,the function of Business English classroom activities is increasingly attached great importance by Business English teachers of secondary vocational schools.Classroom activities have become the key to Business English classroom teaching of secondary vocational schools.As is known to all,classroom activities of good quality can improve the effects of classroom teaching.However,Currently,the Business English classroom teaching of secondary vocational schools of our country is still at a primitive level.Many problems exist.Although Business English teachers in secondary vocational schools implement classroom activities rather positively in their teachings,but the quality of classroom activities cannot be guaranteed and they didn't gain the ideal effects during the actual teaching processes.Therefore,the research of Business English classroom activities in secondary vocational schools is becoming much more important.This paper introduces the concept of classroom activities and the pattern of English classroom activities.Based on relevant theories of classroom activities,this paper,through questionnaires,interviews and classroom observations,taking X secondary vocational school in C city as an instance,finds existing problems of Business English classroom activities in this school,for example,the formats are one-fold,the implementation is dragged and the evaluation is insufficient.Through analysis,the author finds out that the reason behind is,respectively,teachers lacks the ability of promoting diversity of classroom activities,the learning attitude of students is incorrect and teachers' evaluation capacity is inadequate.Finally,this thesis puts forward targeted strategies,including enhancing teachers' capability of boosting teaching activities diversity via modern educational technologies,stimulating students' learning initiative and consciousness as well as urging teachers to study relevant appraisal theories and grasp estimate methods to advance the overall quality of Business English classroom activities in secondary vocational schools.The author hopes that this research can offer reference for teachers of secondary vocational schools and promote the further development of Business English classroom teaching of secondary vocational schools.
