With the advancement and development of the society,the Long Lion sports project has gradually entered the extracurricular sports curriculum in primary and secondary schools.Primary school children are the hope of the motherland and the future of the nation.They also play an extremely important role in promoting the traditional culture of the Chinese nation.Dragon Dance has brought together the functions of unity,collaboration,unity of thinking,culture and leisure,physical fitness,education and education,and social integration.It has been introduced into the extracurricular sports curriculum for primary school students,which is in line with the characteristics of primary school students' mental health development.This article uses experimental methods,psychological tests,mathematical statistics methods and logical analysis method to take the fifth grade male students in Taitou Primary School in Haidian District,Beijing as the experimental object,to analyze the mental health status of the fifth grade primary school students.The teaching practice of dragon dance was used as an intervention method to analyze the effects before and after intervention,and scientific analysis and routines were performed.Finally,the assumption of positive intervention of the dragon's movement on the pupils' mental health was finally verified.The experimental results showed:1.In terms of learning disabilities,mood disorders and bad habit factors,they decreased from 2.36±1.65,2.03 ±1.46 and 2.30±1.69 before the experiment to 1.30±0.84,1.16±0.71 and 2.00±0.85 after the experiment,respectively.The mean and standard deviation values were significantly lower;the P values of the three factors decreased from P=0.07,P=0.06,and P=0.08 before experiment to P=0.01,P=0.00,and P=0.01,respectively.The common psychological problems such as learning disabilities,mood disorders,personality disorders,and social adaptations of pupils in Grade 5 after interventions such as the eight-character dance dragons in the teaching routine of dragon dance,the running round field,the modeling of dragon palaces,and the shape of pentagrams Obstacles,behavioral disorders,special disorders,and moral defects and bad habits showed different degrees of significant differences(P <0.05)and very significant differences(P <0.01).The conclusions of this paper are as follows: 1.The overall level of mental health of fifth-year primary school students is not high,and individual students' mental health problems are particularly prominent.2.Learning disabilities,mood disorders and bad habits are the major problems in the mental health of fifth-grade primary school students.3.Dragon Dance intervention can alleviate and improve the psychological symptoms of fifth grade primary school students.
