Love is the common feeling of human being,and the core concept in national culture.As a recorder of social reality and nationality,the film presents and focuses on people's cognition and understand of love in a certain period through multiple means,such as language and video.The best film of the year in the Soviet Union is drawn from the vote of readers of the magazine "Soviet Screen",which is one of the authoritative magazine in Russia.It is representative and universal,and is used as a text to define the concept proposed by Karasik from the perspective of linguistics and culture,analyzing the definition and structure of the Russian nation's concept "love",which will help us to understand national value system of Russian about the concept "love" in the specific historical background.The paper is composed of three parts including the introduction,body and conclusion.The introduction examines the background,outlines the problems and objects,purpose and meaning,methods and innovation of this paper.The body consists of three chapters: Chapter 1 researches on the theoretical basis of the concept "love";Based on the theory of Karasik,chapter 2 studies the concept "love" in the Russian idiomatic phrase;Chapter 3 analyzes the concept of love in the 1957-1991 Best Film of the year in Soviet Union,and explains the reasons for the formation of the concept "love" in the specific historical background.The paper applies the theory of ideas to the analysis of the Soviet film texts,which provides an entry for the study of film texts in the country.The films that are generally accepted by the audience are used as the texts to study the concept of love,which can enrich the concept of text selection.
