The pre-job training of Chinese teacher volunteer and Master of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages(MTCSOL)are similar in training goals,course setting and training objects,but they also have difference in training mode and teaching resources.Meanwhile,they have advantages in course setting,training mode and teaching resources,and they can draw lessons from each other.Based on this,we analyzed pre-job training overall via curriculum,training mode and teaching resources by introducing objective statistical method and questionnaires method.And we conclude that the pre-job training is excellent for its outstanding core courses,variable teaching methods,suitable class scale and the best teacher team.By analyzing the present situation of college education of MTCSOL,we think that college education of MTCSOL has the characteristics of long training period,completed course setting,and stable teacher teams.However,the colleges have not done well according to the Education Program for Master of Chinese International Education.There are many problems,such as few practical opportunities,large classes,lack of teaching resources and so on."We propose the following strategy to handle those problems by drawing on the experience of pre-job training of Chinese teacher volunteer:protruding the practicality of professional courses,such as setting theTeaching and Practice course as a core course,enhancing the pertinence of professional courses like prolonging the time of core courses,adopting various teaching methods,and combine big classes with small classes.We hope the results can offer an inspiration for college education of MTCSOL,and make some contributions for training qualified Chinese international teachers.
