This translation practice study report is based on a comparative study of The Wrath of Capital(Chapter 6: Animal Pharm)and its Chinese version translated by the author of this report.Under the guidance of Skopos theory,as well as thorough understanding of the original text and the linguistic features of economic texts,the author of this report illustrates how different translation strategies and skills are employed to work out translation difficulties with typical translation examples.Firstly,the introduction part mainly introduces the purpose and significance of this report,and the study methods and theory guidance.Secondly,this report introduces the translation project and the process of translation practice.Moreover,the report makes a brief introduction to Skopos theory and the application of it to translation practice,mainly on the levels of title,vocabulary,sentence and text.The last part concludes gained experience and the deficiency in this translation practice study report.
