The study of tombs is the basis of archaeological research in the Han Dynasty.Funerary objects are important materials for the study of tombs.The Luoyang area is the core area during the Han and Han dynasties.There are a large number of small and medium-sized Han tombs and a large number of funerary objects.This is an important prerequisite for the study of the location of the funerary objects.This article is based on the nearly 2,000 Luoyang area published materials for excavation of small to medium-sized Han tombs.It systematically sorts the tombs that meet the research conditions for the placement of the funerary objects within a clear space-time range,ie,a plan of tombs and 234 tombs with burial articles and well-defined locations.The tombs of these tombs are divided into four categories: pottery,metalware,coins,and other artifacts.The tombs are divided into vertical cave tombs,vertical rectangular tombs,vertical rectangular slopes,and vertical rectangular tombs.The square tomb of Fang Qiantang,the tombs of the front hall,and the tombs of the vertical rectangles at the front of the church were eight categories.The statistical analysis method was used to systematically analyze the position and regularity of the placement of the four types of funerary objects in the aforementioned eight types of tombs.Based on the function of the funerary objects,it is divided into eight categories,including living devices,storage devices,valuables,car and horses,memorials,rituals,town tombs,and model lights,and discusses the placement rules and significance of the combination of objects.On this basis,the tombs were divided into “no space for funerary objects to be placed”,“appearance period of space for buried objects”,“mature space for buried objects”,and “transition space for buried objects”.period.Combining the results of the staging research,the period of the two Hans was divided into seven periods.The position of the funerary objects of the Warring States Period and the Wei and Jin dynasties and the Han Dynasty tombs in the Luoyang region were compared to each other horizontally;horizontally,the burial products of the Xi’an area and the Luzhongnan area in the Han dynasty period were compared.The similarities and differences in the placement of the location,to explore its development and evolution.Through the change of the location of the funerary objects,the author explored the thoughts of heavy burial,admiration for luxuriance,eternal life,and death in the Han dynasty,emphasizing the concept of life and death after the death,and exploring the position of the funerary objects and the residence of the Han Dynasty.The relationship between buildings;the influence of the prevalence of burial culture in the Han Dynasty on the placement of burial objects.
