As an emerging instrument in the funeral culture of the Han Dynasty,The model burial objects is an important witness to the transformation of funeral culture from the Zhou system to the Han system, and it is also an important component of the funeral culture in the Han Dynasty. This paper takes the model burial objects excavated from medium and small-sized Han tombs in Sishui Basin as the research object, uses the typology method to study the model burial objects, and constructs the chronological framework. The spatial distribution of model burial objects in the basin and the placement of tombs are also analyzed.Through the comparison with the ruling center of the Han Dynasty and the surrounding areas, the cultural exchanges and interactions between different regions are explored. Finally, combined with literature materials and stone, the agriculture of The Han Dynasty in Sishui Basin reflected by the model burial objects is analyzed. The first part introduces the excavation of the model burial of Sishui Basin,It can be known by combing archaeological reports and excavation briefs that have been published publicly,Most model artifacts of Sishui Basin were unearthed in Zaozhuang,Weishan,Xuzhou and other places in the middle reaches of Sishui basin.Sishui and Qufu in the upper reaches of Sishui Basin and Suqian in the lower reaches of Sishui Basin are rare, and their spatial distribution is obviously unbalanced.According to the functional use of the excavated model ware, the second part divides the model ware into five types:grain storage, grain processing, cooking, residential, and circle toilet, and conducts typological analysis of the utensils involved in each category according to the different morphological differences embodied in each category,so as to explore the change trend of the model ware in the river basin. The third part is based on typological analysis, through the chronological tombs, the combination of artifacts associated with them, and combined with the relevant research results of predecessors,on this basis,Model burial objects excavated from medium and small-sized Han tombs in the Sishui Basin is divided into six stages, the chronological framework of the Han model burial objects in the Sishui Basin is constructed, and the characteristics of the model burial objects in different periods are analyzed. The fourth part is a study of the spatial characteristics of the model burial objects in the Sishui basin, and explores the differences in the spatial position of the model burial objects in the watershed from the two dimensions of spatial distribution in the watershed and the spatial position placed in a single tomb.As a miniature instrument of real-life scenes, the model burial objects also follows the relevant rules of the orientation arrangement of the real scene in its spatial placement, and explores the reasons behind this difference. The fifth part analyzes the differences of model artifacts in different regions by comparing them with Guanzhong area,Luoyang area and Lubei area adjacent to Sishui Basin. In the sixth part, through the analysis of food storage tools, processing tools and latrine feeding places unearthed from Han tombs in The Sishui Basin, combined with relevant archaeological findings and images of agricultural production themes such as grain warehousing, husking and cooking, the agriculture of the Han Dynasty reflected by the model ware was explored in the basin.
