It has direct influence on the ability and effect of Chinese communication for overseas students whether they can use interrogative words accurately.The related result of interview shows that overseas students still have some errors when they are using interrogative words.How to improve the teaching of interrogative words at this moment,and to help them master the accurate method of using these words,which are the problems need to be solved for foreign Chinese teaching.This article is based on large scale of linguistic data,moreover it takes "ba" "ma" "ne" as the objects of study,that to exposes that the differences and similarities of syntactic function,pragmatic function of these three.Meantime,interviews about overseas students on some extent to use interrogative words,concluding the types of errors of these words,and considering to improve the teaching strategies of teaching "ba"“ma”“ne”,would be merit for external Chinese education,especially the system of interrogative modal particles.This article use previous researches for reference.It lays more emphasis on syntactic function,pragmatic function of studying of " ba" "ma" "ne " severally.Then concluding the differences and similarities of these three words by using comparative analysis approach.We find that the trait of interrogative words "ba"" ma " " ne " is generally same when using " NP+VP/AP+ ?/? ??"and"NP+VD+VP+?/??".But when"ba"is used in "NP+VD+VP+?/??" always match with adverbial,like"zong"(?)"weibi"(??)"bujiande"(???),yet in this same construction,"ma" is more likely to accompany with " kebushi "(???)"guozhen"(??)"haiyao”(??)and this kind of adverbial words.In addition,the position of interrogative words in sentences,for example in compound sentences,all"ba" "ma" "ne" can be put on the end of the sentences,rather than at the end of the clause in the middle of the sentences.According to the form of questionnaire survey,this article pay more attention on the types of errors and the reason of errors of interrogative words "ba" "ma" " ne".After we collating data,we find that frequency of occurrences of missing and misused are relatively high in the process of overseas students study.The main reason is because of the negative transfer of Eglish,generalization,textbook compilation so on.This article gives some suggestions and reference for teaching of interrogative words on external Chinese education.Teachers can proceed contrastive teaching of Chinese interrogative words between mother language of overseas students on the basis of the nationality of the background of these overseas students.Teachers can combine other interrogative words to contrast,in order to strengthen students' ability of discrimination when teachers is teaching one of these three words.On the other hand,teachers should remain students to notice the set phrases of "ba" "ma" "ne",that would train students' language sense.At the same time,teachers need to find appropriate teaching methods of interrogative words,such as set a scene,team performance and so on.
