Modal complement is a kind of grammatical phenomenon which is unique in Chinese.It is a special part of Chinese complement system.The changing forms are diverse,complex structure and diversified semantics.Therefore,for the non-native speakers of Chinese language,modal complement "de" is more difficult to grasp and it is one of their difficult learning.Indonesian Chinese learners are no exception,in order to have a better understanding in the similarities and differences between the Chinese and the corresponding expressions in the Indonesian language,this article chooses the comparative sentence of the Chinese word "de" and the corresponding expression of the Indonesian language as the object of study,from the semantic and Syntactic structure and other aspects of research and discussion,and through the questionnaire examine the Indonesian learners use the "de" word modal sentence often generated errors and the type of induction errors and analysis the cause of the Indonesian learners errors.Finally,the author puts forward some suggestions on teaching Chinese and also some suggestions for Indonesian learners to learn Chinese.
