Re-discussion On The Battle Of Linfen And Jinzhong In The Strategic Counterattack Period In The Liberation War

The main content of this paper is the two battles of Linfen and Jinzhong in the battlefield of Shanxi in the later period of the strategic counteroffensive in the Liberation War.From the Battle of Linfen in March 1948 to the end of the Jinzhong Campaign in July 1948,it was a period of fierce confrontation between the Chinese Communists during the Liberation War.Both Chiang Kai-shek and Mao Zedong,leaders of the highest levels of the KMT and the CPC,attached great importance to the battles in Lincang and Jinzhong.In these two campaigns,the Chinese Communist Party won under Xu Xiangqian’s command,effectively responded to the CCP’s main force’s external operations,completely reversed the battlefield in Shanxi’s battlefield,and trained a new powerful combatant regiment to promote it.The political construction of the troops played a major role in the changes in the North China War and the entire war situation,providing favorable conditions for the Chinese Communist Party to successfully conduct a strategic decisive battle.Moreover,the success of this continuous combat method has been highly respected by the Chinese Communists and has called on other troops to learn.This article is divided into five parts,which comprehensively introduces the background and the battle process of the Linfen and Jinzhong campaigns,and summarizes the reasons for the victory,as well as the lessons learned and the results and significance of the war.The first part is the introduction,including the background and significance of topic selection,literature review,research method and innovation point.The second part introduces the strategic counter-offensive began before and after the change of the kuomintang and the game,the leader of the kuomintang and Chiang kai-shek,MAO zedong to war to predict and respond to,and shanxi battlefield situation changes.The third part mainly describes the process of the Linfen battle and the causes,experiences and lessons of the CCP’s victory.The fourth part mainly describes the occurrence process of the Jinzhong Campaign and the causes,experiences and lessons of the victory of the CCP.The fifth part points out the important influence of the battle of linfen and jinzhong on the development of the shanxi war bureau,the north China war bureau,the national war bureau and the PLA’s fighting force and the construction of the PLA.
