Rendering technology,which is very important in animation,game,film and television industry,is the final key to present the work to the public.It has been a popular study topic in and abroad,where there is a certain distance between the Chinese rendering technology and the international advanced technology.At the present,if a producer wants to have a better rendering effect,he/she needs to spend more time on rendering,while the industry is becoming hardly to bare the time for waiting for rendering.China is a big producer in animation,but we seldom have good animation outputs.The reason is somehow about rendering,for its time is inversely connected to the quality of animation.Many companies have no choice but cut rendering time so as to save the cost,which means the quality of works are lowered.Along with the rapid development of numerical media technology,customers are more and more strict to the visual effects,which arouses the higher demands for rendering technology.How to solve the problem between the rendering cost and high quality of animation are the urgent task we face.This study focusing on this aim and based on some specific actual problem,designs a GridRender(cluster animation rendering system),which can help finish rendering in shortest time with high quality outcomes,meanwhile makes the automation of rendering come true.In the system structure,GridRender has the following functions and features: it mainly runs by Master to complete the controlling of machine as well as the submission,distribution and management of rendering tasks.It combines the rendering nodes and functions with Render Machine,where rendering nodes are open and expandable,and can support various render machines.GridRender are featured as simple,easy and convenient.Users can check on the rendering progress timely.The system is stable and based on the Hollywood film making standard.It fits the main 3D animation software such as Maya,3Ds Max,AE.
