The Chronicle Biography Of Zi Gong

Zi Gong(full name Duanmu Ci,another name Zi Gong)was born in the country of Wei in 520 B.C.and died after 456 B.C.Zi Gong was one of the representative disciples in Confucius.Zi Gong did a good job in commerce and diplomacy.He raised Confucius status and expand its influence through his own commercial and political actions.This paper is divided into two mainly parts.The first part is the research of Zi Gong.The part using the double evidence act on the historical documents and unearthed documents.combined with philology,bibliography and history knowledge,which ensure Zi Gong's family name and the given name.Later,through the research of Confucius and related literature informationve reach a conclusion that Zi Gong was born in 520 B.C.and died after 456 B.C.In this part we insist the attitude that know one's background then discuss his work,we also take the idea that we must understand and give compassion to the person who we are discussing.So we do a researching on the background of Zi Gong.In the core time of China,it is the traditional intellectuals who help the developing of history.Their team expanding and self-awakening made the coming of c-ontention of a hundred schools of thoughts era.Through the discussing and research on Zi Gong's thoughts and life experience,we know that Zi Gong was a person who eloquent,agile,flexible,gentle and calm.On the chronicle biography of Zi Gong,we make a carding,on the history facts which between the 520 B.C.and 468 B.C.We also make a carding on Zi Gong's life experience,it can help us make a more comprehensive and objective understanding of Zi Gong.
