Objective: In order to provide a safe and effective method for the treatment of breast eczema in lactation,this subject summarize the clinical effectiveness and medication safety of traditional Chinese medicine in treating the disease from liver and spleen.Methods: According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria,60 eligible breast eczema patients were selected from the breast surgery clinic of First Teaching Hospitai of Tianjin University of TCM.They were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group,30 in each group.The observation group was treated with the combination of traditional Chinese medicine and Xiaomin plaster,while the control group was treated with Xiaomin plaster and both for 4 weeks.The patients were observed and recorded at the end of initial diagnosis and 4weeks treatment.The patients were followed up for 1 month,and the patients were recorded.The clinical effects of the two groups were compared from the pruritus,dampness and exudation,the form of skin lesions,the scope of skin lesions and the integral of accompanying symptoms.Results:(1)60 patients with eczema of liver depression and spleen deficiency type were included in the study.The age range of the observation group was 24-41 years,with an average age of 31.73 ± 3.70 years;the age range of the control group was 23-42 years,with an average age of 29.87 ± 4.26 years.Before treatment,the patients in the observation group and the control group had statistical significance in age,course of disease,lactation time,pruritus degree of breast eczema,degree of dampness and exudation,scope of skin lesions,form of skin lesions,TCM syndrome score(P > 0.05),and the two groups had comparability.(2)In the treatment of breast eczema in lactation period,the combination of traditional Chinese medicine and Xiaomin ointment can relieve the itching degree of patients,improve the shape of eczema skin lesions,the scope of skin lesions and the accompanying symptoms.After treatment,the symptom scores between groups are statistically significant(P < 0.05);in the comparison of the degree of dampness and exudation,there is no statistical significance(P >0.05).(3)The total effective rate was 93.33% in the observation group(3 recovered,11 effective,14 improved,2 ineffective);the total effective rate was 76.67% in the treatment group(1 recovered,2 effective,20 improved,7 ineffective).(4)There was no significantdifference in recurrence rate between the two groups(P > 0.05).(5)There were no serious adverse reactions in the two groups.Conclusion: The therapeutic effect of traditional Chinese medicine on eczema of breast in lactation period is safe and reliable.It has obvious curative effect on alleviating the itching degree of eczema,improving the form,scope and accompanying symptoms of eczema.On the one hand,it can reduce the symptoms and shorten the course of breast eczema patients in lactation period;on the other hand,during the treatment period,patients can continue to breastfeed,thus improving the quality of life of patients and infants.Traditional Chinese medicine has a good effect and no obvious side effects on this disease,which is worthy of being trusted by lactation patients and has a wide application prospect. |
