Correlation Between The Infection Of Different Subtypes Of Helicobacter Pylori And Functional Dyspepsia

Background:Functional dyspepsia?FD?is one of the most common functional gastrointestinal disorders?FGIDs?in the clinic.The incidence of FD worldwidely is high,bringing people a heavy burdern of daily life,psychological and economic and affects patients'quality of life seriously.The pathogenesis of FD remains unclear,with the scholars'research on the etiology and pathogenesis of FD,some studies have found that FD is closely related to Helicobacter pylori?H.pylori?infection,moreover the symptoms and the quality of life would be significantly improved after H.pylori eradication.However,with the study of H.pylori,we found that H.pylori can be divided into different subtypes according to the virulence genes they secrete,and the pathogenicity of different subtypes of H.pylori is also different.However,there are still few reports about the relationship between the different subtypes of H.pylori and FD.Therefore our study explore the correlation between the different subtypes of H.pylori and FD,and explore the therapeutic value of eradicating H.pylori,and providing a theoretical basis for clinical individualized treatment and follow-up of FD patients.Objective:To explore the relationship between two subtypes of H.pylori infection and FD symptoms.Methods:From October 2018 to August 2019,106 patients with FD diagnosed according tu Rome?criteria were selected as research objects in the Department of Gastroenterology,Shiyan Renmin Hospital.Patients were divide into H.pylori-negative groups and H.pylori-positive group by the ¹⁴C Urea Breath Test and filled with dyspepsia severity index?Dyspepsia Symptom Severity Index,DSSI?score at the same time.H.pylori-positive group were divide into type?and type?by H.pylori antibody detection.We analyzed the symptom scores between the H.pylori-negative group,the type I,and the type II groups.H.pylori-positive group were divided into eradication treatment group and routine treatment group according to random number method.The eradication treatment group was treated with H.pylori eradication treatment and the routine treatment group was treated with general treatment.The DSSI scores of the two groups were compared at 1 month,2 months,and 3 months after the treatment.Results:Among the FD patients who received the questionnaires,49.06%were H.pylori positive.DSSI scores of the H.pylori-positive group was significantly increased compared with with the negative group?n=106,P<0.05?.DSSI scores of the type?group was significantly increased compared with the type?group?n=52,P<0.05?.The eradication rate of H.pylori in the observation group was 76.92%.The DSSI score of the eradication treatment group were significantly lower than those of the routine treatment group at 1 month,2 months,and 3 months after the treatment?n=52,P<0.05?.Conclusion:?1?The infection rate of Helicobacter pylori in functional dyspepsia patients is 49.06%?2?H.pylori infection makes functional dyspepsia symptom worseed,among which type?H.pylori are even worse.?3?The H.pylori eradication treatment can significantly improve the symptoms of H.pylori-positive FD patients.
