| Objective:On this study ST4 penetration ST6 needle pulling method of the clinical effect of treating peripheral facial paralysis.Methods:From May 2019 to January 2020,selected 60 patients with peripheral facial paralysis all the selected cases were from Guoyitang and Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture and moxibustion department of the Third Affiliated Hospital of Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.Using the method of cohort study divided into the treatment group and the control group,30 people in each group.Development of diagnostic criteria based on the“Neurology(2013)”edited Jia Jianping,published by the people's Health Press:sudden onset of disease,paralysis facial expression muscles on the affected side,the forehead,nose and lips become shallow or disappear,drooping and crooked mouth,the inability completely to open the mouth and show tooth,inflate cheeks at the same time blowing air.Included in the duration of the disease within one month,age 16-69,unilateral a paralysis.Excluding cerebrovascular diseases,patients with benign and malignant tumors of cerebellopontine angle,temporal bone,parotid gland,melkson Rosenthal syndrome,Guillain Barre syndrome,trauma or postoperative legacy,and peripheral facial paralysis during pregnancy;Two groups of acupoints selected and used according to reference "Acupuncture therapeutics(2016)":both groups took the affected side GB14,BL2,ST2,S118,ST6,ST4,SJ17,both sides L14,syndrome matching acupoints.The treatment group using ST4 penetration ST6 needle pulling method,while in the control group ST4 and ST6 conventional acupuncture method.All needles are retained for 25 minutes.Treatment once every 1 day,for 5 days,5 times for a course of treatment,a total of 4 courses.The duration of treatment is one month,if it is cured within one month,the treatment shall be stopped.The two groups before and after treatment,were compared with each other using the facial nerve grading system(H-B),the modified Portmann scoring standard,Facial Disability Index FDI(Facial Disability Index Physical Function FDIP and Facial Disability Index Social Function FDIS).All data collected is analysed by SPSS25.0 software.Result:1.In this study,65 patients with peripheral facial paralysis were collected,included 60 cases,5 cases dropped,divided into the treatment group and the control group consisting of 30 cases each.There were no statistically significant variation of patients in age,gender,side of the disease,causes,bad living habits and other between the two groups(P>0.05),it indicates that the two sets of data are balanced and can becompared.2.Portmann scale there was no statistically significant difference between the treatment group and the control group(P>0.05).Portmann scale results of the treatment group and the control group were different after the first week trteatment,but also there was no difference in the second week,the third week and the fourth week,that's mean differences were not statistically significant(P>0.05).The difference between the two groups in 4 weeks and baseline showed that the difference between the treatment group and the control group in the 0 week Portmann scale score was(15.13 ±1.89),in the 4 week(14.80± 1.81),but the difference there was no significant difference(P>0.05).ST4 penetration ST6 needle pulling method and conventional acupuncture method both the two methods can improve the symptoms of patients with peripheral facial paralysis,but the data presentation ST4 penetration ST6 needle pulling method may not be better than that of the conventional acupuncture method.3.There was no statistical difference of H-B scale between in the two groups(P>0.05).The results suggest that there was a significant difference in H-B scale between the two groups after 4 weeks of treatment,and there was a significant difference in H-B scale grades between the two groups in the first week,the second week,the third week and the fourth week(P<0.05).The data shown ST4 penetration ST6 needle pulling method he effect of treatment of peripheral facial paralysis is better than that of conventional acupuncture method.4.Comparison of the scores of two groups of FDI scale:between two groups there were differences in scores between treatment and control groups on the baseline FDIP(Facial Disability Index Physical Function)scale;There was no significant difference in FDIS(Facial Disability Index Social Function)between the treatment group and the control group(P>0.05),it indicates that the two sets of data are balanced and can becompared.The difference of FDIP scale between the two groups there was statistically significantat the 0 and 4 weeks after treatment was higher than that of the control group(P<0.001).The FDIS scale difference were statistically significant between the treatment group and the baseline after 4 weeks was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).The results indicate that ST4 penetration ST6 needle pulling method the clinical effect of the treatment of peripheral facial paralysis is beneficial to the quality of life of patients was still better than the conventional acupuncture method.5.By comparing the curative effect of HB scale between the two groups,the treatment group transferred to level ?(normal)29 cases(96.7%),one case(3.3%)did not change to level ?,the control group was transferred to level ?(normal)22 cases(73.3%),eight cases(26.7%)did not change to level ?,significant difference between the two groups had statistically significant effect(P<0.05),Prompt ST4 penetration ST6 needle pulling method that the effect of treatment of peripheral facial paralysis is better than that of conventional acupuncture methods.Conclusion:1.ST4 penetration ST6 needle pulling method and conventional acupuncture method has curative effect treatment of peripheral facial paralysis.2.ST4 penetration ST6 needle pulling method can effectively improve the symptoms of peripheral facial paralysis,and also the quality of life of patients may be better than conventional acupuncture methods. |
