Research On Infant And Child Care Of Migrant Families From The Perspective Of Social Support Network

As the urbanization process continues to advance,more and more floating population carry their wives and children on the move,and the phenomenon of family-centered mobility is more and more common,becoming the "new immigrants" in cities.However,after the migrant families enter the destination and lose their original social support,they are in a difficult situation in terms of child care.This article uses a qualitative research method to conduct an in-depth interview with 8 mobile families with infants and young children in Q District,Nanchang City,and describes the current situation and problems of child care in migrant families,and analyzes the reasons behind the lack of social support behind it.It is found that in terms of child care,migrant families are in a dilemma in terms of child care due to the problem of child care,which restricts the employment of migrant women,their own education level is not enough to enlightening their children's early education,and the lack of social support network leads to difficulties in life.In terms of social support,social policy is imperfect,lack of universality nursery institution,community support thin,not enough attention,social organization and family support resources are limited,relatives and friends support,inadequate and so on,all don't say clear current flow family lack of social support networks,flow reflects the family of the construction of the social support system in infants and young children nursery,urgent need of social support and social policy intervention.Based on the findings of investigation and research,this paper proposes the following suggestions for the current situation and social support of infant care in migrant families:government-led policy to improve childcare service policies and supporting measures;diversified models to encourage multiple parties to participate in the construction of the childcare service system,thereby expanding the channel for the provision of childcare resources;through communities and society organization and social worker,establish community-based inclusive childcare institutions,link effective resources and provide strong support for migrant families;take the family as the core,improve the quality of the family support system,and change the family's traditional education,at the same time,we will actively expand our social support network while exerting our own strength.Through the joint function of formal social support and informal social support,we can break through the dilemma of child care for migrant families,establish a social support system dominated by the government,supported bythe community,based on the family and supplemented by the neighborhood,and ensure the healthy growth of migrant children.
