Relationship Between Capsular Tension Ring And Visual Quality Of High Myopia With Cataract After Cataract Surgery

Objective:To observe the effect of capsular tension ring(CTR)on postoperative visual quality in cataract with high myopia patients.Method:From April 2018 to June 2019,59 cases with myopia and cataract who treated at The Second Affiliated Hospital Of Nanchang University were selected.All cases were divided into experimental group and control group according to whether the capsular tension ring was implanted during the surgery.1 month and 6 months after the surgery,IOL Master 500 was used to examine the axial length and corneal curvature of the both groups;uncorrected visual acuity(UCVA)and best corrected visual acuity(BCVA)were recorded;the refractive drift was calculated(the absolute value of the refractive diopter within 5 months);OPD Scan Ⅲ refractive power/cornea analyzer was used to examine the intraocular high-order oberration(HOA),intraocular comatic obberration(Coma),intraocular lens tilt(Tilt).All tests are performed by the same doctor.Results:At 1 month and 6 months after surgery,two groups had no statistically significant in uncorrected visual acuity(UCVA)and best corrected visual acuity(BCVA).(2)The experimental group had no statistically significant in axial length and average corneal curvature at 1month and 6 months after surgery.(3)Within 6 months after surgery,the refractive drift of the experimental group was0.425±0.169 D,and the refractive drift of the control group was 0.900±0.337 D.The difference was statistically significant(P=0.1).Except for 1 case with myopia drift,all rest cases had hyperopia drift.(4)At 6months after surgery,two groups had no statistically significant difference in intraocular high-order oberration(HOA)、intraocular comatic obberration(Coma)、intraocular lens tilt(Tilt).Conclusion:(1)Postoperative refractive drift is inevitable in high myopia with cataract.The combined implantation of CTR and IOL can reduce the postoperative refractive drift and stabilize the postoperative refractive state.(1)In the short term after surgery,the combined implantation of CTR and IOL had no significant effect in uncorrected visual acuity(UCVA)and best corrected visual acuity(BCVA)、intraocular high-order oberration(HOA)、intraocular comatic obberration(Coma)、intraocular lens tilt(Tilt).(2)The effect of refractive drift should be considered before the surgical plan for high myopia patients with cataract to avoid affecting the final refractive state.
