Objective: A study was conducted to investigate the changes of serum uric acid levels in patients with different levels of OSA,to study the correlation between OSA and serum uric acid. Methods: Selected patients with suspected OSA from January 1,2018 to January 1,2019 in outpatient and inpatient visits of Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps Hospital.According to the "Multidisciplinary Study of Adult Obstructive Sleep Apnea" formulated by the Sleep Medicine Professional Committee of the Chinese Medical Doctors Association "Clinical Guidelines",120 patients who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria were selected, and they were divided into OSA group and control group according to PSG results. They were grouped according to sleep apnea hypopnea index(AHI): control group(AHI <5 times / h,30 cases),mild OSA group(AHI: 5 to 15 times / h,27 cases),moderate OSA group(AHI: 15 to 30 times / h,22 cases),severe OSA group(AHI> 30 times/ h,41 cases),observe general information(age, gender,BMI,ESS,MAP),serological indicators(serum cholesterol, triglycerides, uric acid,CK,CK-MB,LDH)and sleep of each group Respiratory parameters(AHI,LSaO2,MSaO2,T90%)and other indicators, statistical analysis of various indicators, and statistical analysis of the correlation between serum uric acid levels and various factors.Results:1.There was no significant difference in age, gender,BMI,ESS,and MAP between the OSA group and the control group(P> 0.05).2.There was no significant difference in the serum uric acid in the mild OSA group(320.81±74.62)umol /L compared with the control group(305.43±48.29)umol / L(P> 0.05),the moderate OSA group(355.14±89.85)umol / Land the severe OSA group(403.95 ± 93.30)umol / L were higher than those in control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);The serum uric acid level in the severe OSA group was higher than that in the moderate OSA group and mild OSA group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.Pearson and Spearman correlation analysis showed serum uric acid levels were significantly positively correlated with AHI(r = 0.470),T90%(r = 0.405)and triglycerides(r = 0.379),and were significantly correlated with LSaO2(r =-0.388),MSaO2(r =-0.390)were negatively correlated(P<0.01).Binary logistic regression analysis,AHI is the main factor affecting uric acid.4.The AHI and T90% of the OSA group were significantly higher than those of the control group, while LSaO2 and MSaO2 were significantly lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.01);the AHI,T90%,MSaO2 and LSaO2 of the OSA group were statistically significant.(P<0.05).5.There was a statistically significant difference in triglycerides between the moderate and severe OSA groups and the control group(P<0.05);there was a statistically significant difference between the triglycerides in the severe OSA group and the mild OSA group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between the mild OSA group and the mild OSA group compared with the control group(P>0.05);there was a statistically significant difference between the CK and LDH of the severe OSA group and the control group(P<0.05);There was no significant difference between CK-MB and cholesterol compared with the control group(P>0.05).6.CK(r = 0.219),LDH(r = 0.214)were positively correlated with AHI(P <0.05),CK(r =-0.218),LDH(r =-0.235)and L SaO2 were negatively correlated(P<0.05)),CK-MB has no significant correlation with AHI and LSaO2.Conclusions:1.The serum uric acid concentration of patients with different degrees of OSA is different, and has a strong correlation with AHI,TSaO2,LSaO2,and MSaO2,and increases with the severity of the disease and the degree of hypoxia,it can be used as an indirect assessment of the severity of OSA patients and the degree of hypoxia indicators;2.CK and LDH of OSA patients are also related to AHI and LSaO2,which is of certain value for assisting the assessment of the condition of OSA.
