Objective: By construct an advance care planning training program suitable for medical students and verifying it through educational experiments.It provides a theoretical reference for the implementation of advance care planning education courses in medical students in the future.Methods: The research process was divided into three stages: design stage,intervention stage and effect evaluation stage.Including three stages: 1.Constructed of advance care planning training program for medical students Based on the literature review,constructed the " Advance Care Planning Training Program for Medical Students",and consult experts on the training program and the core content framework.10 experts were invited to participate in the project cooperation,built a content program,scientific and feasible training content program from the perspective of experts.2.Constructed questionnaires on knowledge,attitude / belief,practice willingness of medical students advance care planning Through literature review and based on the theoretical basis of KABP model,we designed the advance care planning knowledge,attitude and practice willingness questionnaire for medical students.According to the pre survey results,the questionnaire was debugged and its reliability and validity were tested.In addition,10 experts were invited to conduct two rounds of Delphi Method.3.Evaluated of advance care planning training effect for medical students Combine the expert meeting construction the program of the training of advance care planning training and improve the specific teaching content,innovated the training methods,and evaluated the training effect.The questionnaires were conducted before the course and one month after the course by the method of quasi-experimental study.We used SPSS 22.0 statistical software to evaluate the training effect by Paired-Samples t test or Nonparametric rank sum test.Results: 1.Construct of advance care planning training program for medical students The training program through various methods and finally determined: The training was divided into three stages: knowledge,attitude and behavior.It includes 5 first level dimensions and 22 second level dimensions.2.Construct questionnaires on knowledge,attitude / belief,practice willingness of medical students advance care planning The questionnaire of advance care planning knowledge,attitude and practice willingness of medical students was designed.There were 33 items in the questionnaire,including 12 items of advance care planning knowledge questionnaire,13 items of advance care planning attitude questionnaire,and 8 items of advance care planning practice willingness questionnaire.The questionnaire overall Cronbach's ? coefficient of the questionnaire was 0.826,the split-half reliability was 0.886,and the CVI was 0.882.After two rounds of expert correspondence,the positive coefficient of experts was 100%,the overall authority coefficient was 0.893,and the harmony coefficient of Kendall's W in the last round of expert correspondence was 0.252(P < 0.001).3.Evaluate of advance care planning training effect for medical students(1)Advance care planning knowledge: advance care planning knowledge of medical students after training was significantly higher than that before training,which was 7.23±1.87 and 10.27±2.09 respectively,with significant difference(P < 0.05).(2)Advance care planning attitude: the advance care planning attitude of medical students after training was significantly higher than that before training,50.90 ± 7.61 and 56.68±4.18 respectively,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).(3)Advance care planning practice willingness: the advance care planning practice willingness of medical students after training was significantly higher than that before training 30.70±4.25 and 33.72±3.33 respectively,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).(4)After class satisfaction evaluation: the trainees are satisfied and highly recognized with the development of advance care planning training.The average score of satisfaction items was 4.49 ± 0.43,which confirms the necessity,effectiveness and acceptability of the course.Conclusion: 1.The content of advance care planning training course for medical students constructed in this study is scientific and reliable.It provides implementation reference for the scientific development of advance care planning education in medical students in the future.2.The questionnaire of advance care planning knowledge,attitude and practice willingness of medical students designed in the study have scientific and applicability through reliability and validity test and expert consultation,and can be used as a scientific evaluation tool to test the knowledge,attitude and practice willingness of advance care planning of medical students.3.The advance care planning training course for medical students can effectively improve the knowledge level of medical students,enable medical students to develop their attitude towards advance care planning in a positive direction,and have a positive effect on their willingness to conduct advance care planning in clinical practice in the future.
