An Investigation And Analysis On CongnitiveIdea Of Advanced Care Planing In Patients With Hepatopathy And Their Relatives

Purpose:To investigate the idea congnize of Advance Care Planing(ACP)in in-patients with hepatopathy and their relatives in Liver Disease Department of a three-top hospital located in Northeast of China using questionnaires.Try to learn their understanding about ACP and analyze influence factors.Predict the feasibility of implementation of ACP and the influence factors.Offer some conferences to the relavant medical policy making in hospice care field under the background of ageing of population.Method:The patients and their relatives who stayed in liver disease department were investigated using self-designed questionnaires.A total of 240 questionnaires were issued,228 were recovered and the recovery rate was 95.0%.A database was established for statistical analysis.Statistical methods contained descriptive statistical analysis,variance analysis,and so on.Result:Many factors that influence individuals' idea congnize of ACP.Four respects were included.1.As a whole,most in-patients and relatives showed positive attitude toward ACP.They both considered ACP is feasible and would like to know more information aout it.2.Most testees lacked of understanding on ACP idea and agreed to the idea of developing life education and the government should guide pepple's consciousness on ACP;The subject paid more attention to the quality of lives and wanted to know their real diagnoses as well.3.Though the relatives showed active attitudes on the answer to the questionnaires about ACP,they still would get into the hot water on ethical dilemma in whether to treat the patients at the end of the lives.4.Education level,the types and the severity of diseases were the influence factors to the acception of ACP.The respondents who had a higher education level were more positive to ACP.At the same time,different type of diseases revealed different attitude on ACP.the more serious the disease were,the more the patients would think about ACP issue.Conclusion:ACP is be needed and has a more boarder development space in China,people had a high acceptability on the topic.lt is necessary to our government to take action to strengthen education on life value and death value,promotes the development of Hospice and Palliative Care.provides a effective support for the development of ACP,making it be understood by more people,and offer more economic and humanized choices for dying people under the background of increasing ageing population.
