[Purpose]Explore the occurrence of allergic diseases in children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, and provide a theoretical basis for the treatment and prevention of ADHD.[Methods]The Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders(DSM-V),developed by the American Psychiatric AssoCIation(APA),is used as a diagnostic criterion for ADHD to diagnose ADHD cases.Refer to the core questions of the International Childhood Asthma and Allergic Disease Research Standards Questionnaire and the 2008 China Children's Broiler Diagnostic and Prevention Guideline design questionnaire, involving allergic symptoms such as childhood asthma, allergic rhinitis and eczema;self-made school-age children and family soCIal environment questionnaires for study the basic health of children, including individual factors(gender, age),perinatal factors(mode of delivery, gestational age, feeding style),family environmental factors(educational education, family income per capita, parents)Marriage).A case-control study(n=600 in the ADHD group, ages 4-12 years;n=600 in the normal control group, ages 4-12 years)was used to study allergic diseases in children with ADHD disorder and normal children. The differences in the incidence of allergic diseases between the two groups were compared, and the effects of allergic diseases on the age, symptoms and treatment of ADHD were studied.Statistical analysis was performed with SPSS 21.0 software.Qualitative data was described by example and rate(%).The measurement data conforming to the normal distribution was described by x±s.On the test level of ?=0.05,the Chi-square test was used for the single factor analysis while multi factors inspection was test by conditional Logistic regression analysis.[Results]The prevalence of bronchial asthma, allergic rhinitis, atopic dermatitis, allergic conjunctivitis, and food allergy in the ADHD group was significantly different from that in the control group(P<0.01).The risk of ADHD in a single allergic disease group was 1.120(95% CI: 0.831-1.509),and the risk of ADHD in a mixed allergic disease group was 2.494(95% CI: 1.912-3.254).Among the three groups of children, the age of children with mixed allergic disease showed the lowest age of ADHD,and the proportion of children with ADHD symptoms was significantly higher than that of the other two groups(P<0.01);ADHD symptoms are most common with attention deficit;after taking anti-allergic drugs,1.2% of children with ADHD symptoms are worse than before,56.7% of children with ADHD symptoms are less than before, and 41.9% of children with ADHD symptoms are less than before Significant change(P <0.01).[Conclusions]The incidence of allergic diseases in the ADHD group was significantly higher than that in the normal control group. The age of onset of ADHD in the children with mixed allergic disease was earlier than that in the single allergic disease group and the non-allergic disease group, and the symptoms were higher than the other two groups. After anti-allergy treatment, most children with ADHD have reduced symptoms. For children with ADHD who have allergic diseases,a comprehensive assessment and comprehensive treatment are needed.
