Research On Medication Situation In Children With Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder Based On Real Practice

Objectives1.To investigate medication situation based on real practice;2.To explore the changes of behaviors,family function and executive function with ADHD who had take methylphenidate hydrochloride controlled release tablets(Concerta)or atomoxietine hydrochloride(Strattera)for 4 weeks,8 weeks and 12 weeks.Methods1.Apply questionnaire to investigate the demographic data,growing situation and family environment;2.Evaluate symptoms and family function with SNAP-IV,Conners parents symptom questionnaire(PSQ),Weiss Functional Impairment Scale-Parent form(WFIRS-P)and Family Assessment Device;3.Use Wisconsin Card Sorting Test(WCST),digital-span text of WISC-IV,Stroop col-or-word text to assess the executive functions;4.Divede children into two groups:taking medicine groups and refuseing medcine gr-oup according to treatment condition,Divide the take medcine group into Concerta group and Strattera group due to different madicine.Evaluate clinical symptoms,family function,and executive function at the end of 4 weeks,8weeks and 24 weeks,analysis the changes of behaviors,family function and executive functions.Results1.Investigation based on real context shows that there are 40 percent of children refusing medcine treatment,and there are many diffrences between taking medcine group and refusing medcine group,including growing situation family environment,conduct problem,anxiety phycosomatic and family function2.Concerta and Strattera could both improve executive functions and symptoms.Methylphendiate can cure core symptoms,improve family functioning and positively influence response inhibition,working memory,cognitive flexiblity and process speed;2.There were no significant differences in improvement,in clinical symptoms and executive function.Conclusions1.There are significant diffrences between taking medcine group and refusing medcine group,including conduct problem,anxiety and family fumtion.2.Both of Concerta and Strattera can improve executive functions,and cure symptoms;3.Concerta can improve family function,but has no diffrence in symptoms and executive functions.
