Objective To investigate the prognostic factors of prostate cancer patients and provide a good reference for clinical diagnosis and treatment. Methods We retrospectively analyzed 457 PCa patients from January 1,2007,to December 31,2014,at the General Hospital of Ningxia Medical University.Excluding 62 patients who were an incomplete date, had a history of other tumor and missed too early The remaining 395 patients were included in our study. All cases were followed-up.The date on each patient's age, haematuria, urinary retention, ostealgia, creatinine, hemoglobin, hypertension, diabetes,DRE texture,DRE nodus,PSA level,Ultrasound,MRI,prostate volume, bone scan,Gleason Score,clinical-stage,TNM stage T,TNM stage N,TNM stage M,radical prostatectomy, endocrine therapy, bilateral orchiectomy, transurethral resection of prostate, chemotherapy, radiation therapy involved with cancer were analyzed. The categorical variables were compared using the x2 test. The Kaplan-Meier method was used for univariate analysis, the comparison of survival rates between groups was used for the Log-Rank test and multivariate analysis was based on the Cox proportional hazards regression model.Time-dependent Cox regression was used for analysis variables who don't meet the proportional hazards assumption. Results Prostate cancer patients were divided into two groups, death group, and censor group. In death group, the proportion of age?76,bone pain,DRE stiff texture,DRE nodus, hemoglobin abnormality, creatinine abnormality,MRI prostate cancer, bone scan metastasis,Gleason score ? 8,clinical stage?,T4 stage,N1 Stage,M1 Stage, underwent endocrine therapy, radiation therapy and chemotherapy was significantly higher than that in censor group. The proportion of patients in the death group who underwent radical prostatectomy was lower than that in the censor group.Prostate cancer patients 1,3,5,and 10 years of prostate cancer disease-specific survival rates were 93.14%,68.21%,52.27%,and 39.82%respectively.The median survival time was 2028 days.Kaplan-Meier method showed that age, ostealgia, hemoglobin, creatinine,PSA,DRE texture,DRE nodus,MRI,bone scan,Gleason score, clinical stage,TNM stage T,TNM stage N,TNM stage M,radical prostatectomy, endocrine therapy, chemotherapy, radiotherapy were affecting the prognosis of prostate cancer patients.Time-dependent Cox multivariate analysis indicated that the most important prognostic factors impacting on PCa were age, hemoglobin,Gleason score, clinical stage, radical prostatectomyConclusion Age,hemoglobin,Gleason score, clinical stage, and radical prostatectomy were the prognostic factors for prostate cancer.Age,hemoglobin,Gleason score, and clinical stage were risk factors.Radical prostatectomy was a protective factor.
