Study On The Relationship Between Male Sex Hormone Level And Type ? Prostatitis And Symptom Severity

Objective:By comparing the serum sex hormone levels of type ? prostatitis patients with that of male healthy people and patients with different severity,the correlation between the level of male sex hormone and type ? prostatitis and its degree was analyzed,and the pathogenesis and treatment of type ? prostatitis were further discussed.Methods:1.Subjects: From November 2018 to November 2019,55 patients diagnosed as type III prostatitis who met the screening criteria were collected from the urology outpatient department of our hospital,and 55 healthy men who had physical examination in our hospital at the same time were collected.2.Research methods: To analyze the basic data of the selected population and compare the differences of estrogen,androgen,follicle stimulating hormone,luteinizing hormone,progesterone,prolactin and the ratio of male and female hormones between the type ? prostatitis group and the healthy control group.According to nih-cspi,the patients were divided into mild group,moderate group and severe group.The correlation between estrogen,androgen,follicle stimulating hormone,luteinizing hormone,progesterone,prolactin and the ratio of male and female hormones and the severity of type ? prostatitis was analyzed.Results:1.In the case group,there were 15 cases(27%)in mild group,22 cases(40%)in moderate group and 18 cases(27%)in severe group,The age range was 25-45 years old,with an average age of 34.55±7.39 years;the age range of the control group was 26-43 years old,with an average age of 31.20 ± 6.50 years.There was no difference in age and aspect between the disease group and the control group(P > 0.05).2.There was no significant difference in the levels of androgen,follicle stimulating hormone,luteinizing hormone,progesterone and prolactin between the case group and the control group(P > 0.05).3.Compared with the control group,the level of serum estrogen and the ratio of male and female hormones were significantly higher in the case group(P < 0.05).4.There was no significant difference in the levels of androgen,follicle stimulating hormone,luteinizing hormone,progesterone,prolactin and the ratio of male and female hormones between the mild group,the moderate group and the severe group(P > 0.017).5.The level of serum estrogen in moderate and severe group was significantly higher than that in mild group and moderate group(P < 0.017),but there was no significant difference between mild group and moderate group(P > 0.017).Conclusion:The level of serum estrogen and the ratio of male and female hormones in patients with type ? prostatitis were significantly higher than those in healthy people,and there was a certain correlation between the level of serum estrogen and the development of type ? prostatitis.
