| Research objectiveCurrently,the clinical treatment effect of type III prostatitis is not ideal,it is still one of the most common and intractable chronic diseases in urology and andrology which doctors faced.Previous studies and clinical observations have found that the combination Qianlie Shutong capsule and Western medicine has a prominent effect on the treatment of it.Qianlie shuitong capsule is one of the most commonly used drugs in the treatment of chronic prostatitis.It is suitable for the patients with symptoms of the lower urinary tract such as frequent urination,urgent urination,painful urination,and excessive urination,as well as the the pain of perineum,lower abdomen and lumbosacral swelling.Because Qianlie Shutong capsule has obviously promoting blood circulation to remove blood stasis,eliminating dampness and heat,so it is the most commonly used clinical drugs in the clinical treatment of type III prostatitis.In order to better understand the therapeutic effect of Qianlie shutong capsule on patients with type III prostatitis,the randomized controlled clinical study of Qianlie shutong capsule in the treatment of type III prostatitis is taken as the research object in this study.The relevant clinical research reports are systematically evaluated in the current published literature,and the specific role and drug characteristics of Qianlie shutong capsule in the treatment of type III prostatitis are analyzed,so as to provide a reference for clinical treatment.The research methodsThrough searching the Chinese and English randomized controlled clinical trials(RCTs)about the treatment of type III prostatitis with Qianlie shutong capsule published both at home and abroad,and then Meta analysis was performed in the included literature;Specific research methods:Within the Chinese and English databases,using keywords retrieval among relief in Qianlie shutong capsule treatment of prostatitis,type III prostatitis and nonbacterial prostatitis related articles.Through the analysis and collation of the retrieved data by two related professionals,the final researchs meeting the requirements was selected according to the inclusion criteria.The quality of the included studies was evaluated,the basic information of the articles,outcome data,efficacy indicators and NIH-CPSI scores were sorted out,and meta-analysis and statistics were performed on the studies with the same outcome indicators through Revman 5.3 software.The efficacy index and NIH-CPSI score were analyzed to evaluate the efficacy.The odds ratio(OR)was calculated for the data of efficacy analysis with the outcome index as a dichotomous variable.The outcome indicator was NIH-CPSI score of continuous variables,which calculated the mean difference(MD)and reported statistical results with 95%confidence interval(CI).The results of the studyA total of 637 articles were retrieved,and 13 RCTS,all in Chinese,were finally obtained after reading the full text through the inclusion criteria and the exclusion of repeated references.Among them,there were 4 studies on the observation of the combination of qianqlie shutong capsule and western medicine,9 studies on the combination of Qianqian shutong capsule and western medicine and western medicine,and 2 studies on the combination of qianlie shutong capsule and western medicine and western medicine.(2 studies,including separate observation and combined drug use of qianlie shutong).1.Effect evaluationThere was only one report about the efficacy evaluation between Qianlie shutong capsule and Western medicine.The total effective rate of Qianlie shutong was 67%,and the compound sinomin was 48%.There were 6 comparative studies on Qianlie shutong combined with Chemical drugs VS Chemical drugs.Meta analysis results:The effect of Qianlie Shutong capsule combined with chemical drugs therapy was better than the single chemical drug therapy,RR=1.25,95%CI[1.12,1.39].In addition,the or value of Qianlie shutong+antibiotic vs antibiotic group was 5.33,and that of Qianlie shutong capsule+a receptor blocker group was 4.92,which proved that the combination therapy was better than the single chemical drug group.There were two studies to observe western medicine+Qianlie shutong and Chemical drug+Chemical drug,meta-analysis or=0.78,95%CI[2.32,21.6].2.The CPSI evaluationFour studies on the separate comparison between Qianlie shutong capsule and chemical drug showed that MD=-6.68,95%ci[-15.4,2.04].It only indicated that Qianlie shutong capsule was more beneficial to the patients,and the results were not statistically significant.8 studies on the combination of chemical drug and single chemical drug in Qianlie shutong capsule,MD=-5.31,95%ci[-7.40,-3.23],with significant statistical significance.As P<0.00001,12=95%.8 articles had obvious heterogeneity.According to the different types of western medicine,it was divided into the antibiotic group and the receptor group.In the antibiotic group,P>0.05 and I2<50%showed no obvious heterogeneity.There was obvious heterogeneity in beta blocker group.Compared with the combination of two western drugs,the results of the combination of western drugs were statistically significant.Conclusion and significance1.Qianlie shutong capsule is more beneficial for type Ⅲ prostatitis than traditional chemical drug alone.It also has some advantages in reducing NIH-CPSI scores,but there is no statistical difference.2.Qianlie shutong combined with western medicine is more effective than single conventional chemical drugs in the treatment of type Ⅲ prostatitis;it is also more significant in reducing NIH-CPSI scores.3.Qianlie shutong capsule combined with western medicine is more effective than the two conventional chemical drugs in the treatment of type Ⅲ prostatitis.The combination of Qianlie shutong and chemical drug is more effective than the combination of traditional western medicine in reducing NIH-CPSI scores.Using Qianlie shutong capsule alone or combined with conventional western medicine is more effective than conventional western medicine in the treatment of type Ⅲ prostatitis.It shows that Qianlie shutong capsule has a good therapeutic effect on type Ⅲ prostatitis.However,the quality of the clinical randomized controlled study is low,which can not provide a high level of evidence for the final results.When interpreting the results,we need to analyze them according to the literature quality.1.Qianlieshutong has definite curative effect in the treatment of type Ⅲ prostatitis.In particular,the combination of Qianlie shutong and Chemical drug significantly increased the cure rate and effective rate of prostatitis.2.It is not clear that Qianlie shutong can improve the symptoms of type III prostatitis because of the bias and low quality published in the research,but its obvious effect is still worthy of affirmation. |
