Objective:This paper systematically described the utilization and demand preference of pregnant and postpartum women on information acquisition sources, and analyzed the two typical sources in detail,so as to provide references for effectively carrying out maternal and child health information transmission. Methods:The access to health information of pregnant and postpartum women was analyzed as a whole, and two specific sources, obstetricians and WeChat group, were selected for special analysis. The overall source of maternal access to health information was analyzed by convenience sampling, and the maternal visits from November 2016 to August 2017 in four community health service centers in Beijing and three hospitals(gynecology and obstetrics)in Taiyuan City were selected as subjects.Self-designed questionnaire, including the basic situation of pregnant and postpartum women, evaluation and utilization of access to health information.Target Group Index(TGI),two-dimensional quadrant model and corresponding analysis were used for statistical analysis.A Provincial maternal and child health hospital in Shanxi Province was selected as the site for the investigation of obstetricians, and the pregnant and postpartum women who visited this medical institution from April to June 2018 were investigated. The questionnaire was designed by ourselves, and the data were statistically analyzed using SPSS19.0.The investigation of WeChat Group selected the maternal information communication group established by a company, collected the maternal chat records of the group from November 4 to December 6,2019 as the analysis text, and constructed the maternal information communication relationship matrix.Ucinet analysis software was used to generate a network community map,and then the network density, centrality, and the role characteristics of postpartum women were analyzed. Results:An overall study of access to information found that the highest reliability score for pregnant and postpartum women was obtained by obstetricians(0.70),followed by maternal schools(0.36)and community health workers(0.31).Convenience scores for mobile phones(0.72)and computer networks(0.48)were higher, with obstetricians only scoring 0.30.The highest usefulness score was achieved by the obstetricians(0.57),followed by the mobile phone(0.44).The expected selection rate of obstetricians was 9.68 percentage points higher than the actual utilization rate;the expected selection rate of mobile phone and computer network was 11.46 and 24.06 percentage points lower than the actual utilization rate respectively. The TGI of the computer network for pregnant women with postgraduate education or above was very large(TGI=120);the population of the first pregnancy(TGI=126)expected to choose parents;the population of the first trimester(TGI=135)expected to choose brochures;the population of the third trimester(TGI=128)expected to choose maternal schools;the postpartum population expects to choose brochures(TGI=159),relatives and friends(TGI=129),and community medical staff(TGI=146).Maternal and Child Club(TGI=152),TV broadcasting(TGI=146),books,newspapers(TGI=140).Professional institutions or personnel were important sources of information on prenatal examinations, labor analgesia, general knowledge of delivery, postnatal care and neonatal care;information on lifestyle during pregnancy, fetal education, nutrition during pregnancy, exercise, psychological health care and reproductive insurance from the mass media;and information on breastfeeding and relief of physical discomfort through experienced personnel.A special study on the source of obstetricians found that 82.70% of pregnant women would actively consult the obstetricians for information.42.39% of the participants met with the difference in knowledge and understanding of maternal and infant health care explained by obstetricians.64% of the pregnant and postpartum women considered the knowledge of maternal and infant health care acquired during the maternity examination useful.58% of pregnant and postpartum women believed that knowledge of maternal and infant health care was helpful,20% said they were not sure whether it was helpful,and19% thought it was very helpful.A special study of WeChat Group found that the overall network composed of members of WeChat Group in this case contained 413 nodes,671 connections, the network density was 0.018,the network clustering coefficient was 0.72,and the average distance of the network was 2.418.Instructor 1’s degree and betweenness were the highest, and was aleader in the communication group. In the block model analysis, the network was divided into seven subgroups. The average daily conversation volume of WeChat group is 143,and the topics mainly focus on baby care, postpartum repair, and family relationship management. Conclusion:Maternal demand for access to maternal and infant health information is multilevel and diversified, and the core feature of which is reliability and convenience. The pregnant and postpartum women think that the accessibility of each source is better, but in terms of reliability, convenience and usefulness, only a few ways have been recognized by the pregnant and postpartum women in some aspects, and none of them has been recognized in three aspects. The pregnant and postpartum women are satisfied with the cognitive evaluation, user experience and effect evaluation of obtaining health information by obstetricians.By acquiring information through WeChat group, the network relationship within the group is alienated as a whole, and there are edge nodes and isolated nodes. There are small groups in the information communication network, which are closely linked within the groups, and the interaction of the whole network is weak. The distribution of messages within the group is uneven, and the degree of activity is also different.Daily topics within the group are mainly focused on baby care, postpartum repair, and family relationship management.
