Cerebral palsy is one of the most common and most important diseases leading to physical disability in children in China.It is understood that most children with cerebral palsy have psychological problems such as high mood swings,tendency to escape and inferiority and autism,which are not conducive to the development of self-efficacy.Self-efficacy affects children's self-awareness,self-confidence and problem-solving,affecting the development of behavioral skills and personality of children with cerebral palsy and social adaptability,and even whether they can go to society smoothly.At present,scholars at home and abroad have little research on the self-efficacy of children with cerebral palsy,and there is no scientific argument for the treatment of effective intervention in self-efficacy.The sandplay therapy has the advantages of safety,easy operation,weak language,open freedom,etc.It is suitable for children with cerebral palsy who are inconvenient to move but like to play games.It provides new ideas and methods for solving the problem of self-efficacy of children with mild cerebral palsy.Sandplay combines games with psychotherapy to develop the potential of children with cerebral palsy,promote their mental development,and enhance their self-efficacy to help them face life better and achieve self-worth and social value.Taking the children of mild cerebral palsy in the special education school of R city as an example,this paper uses questionnaires,interviews and other methods to study the performance and influencing factors of cerebral palsy children's self-efficacy,and analyzes the rationality of sandplay therapy intervention.On this basis,the author has developed a work plan and evaluation plan for the sandplay therapy group based on the theory of social cognition and the theory of sandplay.The three-stage sandplay group activities were carried out around the three-stage goal of “self-awareness,self-improvement and self-development”.The research methods and results of the group work were evaluated by questionnaires,interviews,observation methods and other research methods.The results showed that the 10 members of the sandplay team had improved in general self-efficacy,self-efficacy,interpersonal self-efficacy and emotional self-efficacy.Finally,the author deeply summarizes and reflects on the practical process of sandplay intervention for self-efficacy of children with mild cerebral palsy,and draws the following conclusions.First,social work can effectively intervene in self-efficacy of children with mild cerebral palsy.Second,sandplay has significant effect in improving the self-efficacy of children with mild cerebral palsy.
