Objective: By observing the changes of serum cystatin C(Cys-C),uric acid(UA)and serum iron(SI)levels in EH patients of Han Nationality under hypoxic environment,to explore whether hypoxia has an effect on serum Cys-C,UA and SI in EH patients and the relationship between these three indexes and blood pressure. Methods:A total of 269 healthy and EH patients of Han nationality who lived or lived for more than 10 years in high altitude area(altitude 3300m-3500m)and middle altitude area(altitude 1980m-2200m)in Qinghai were collected.According to the living altitude and the presence or absence of EH,the patients were divided into three groups:high altitude:A1 group(62 healthy persons),A2 group(78 EH patients),middle altitude group B1(50 healthy persons)and B2 group(79 EH patients).According to the level of blood pressure, the patients in EH group were divided into A2-1 hypertension group(n=27),A2-2 hypertension group(n=23)and A2-3 hypertension group(n=28),B2 group was divided into B2-1 hypertension group(n=19),B2-2 hypertension group(n=30)and B2-3 hypertension group(n= 30).Collect general data including sex,age and so on.Routine examination of hematuria, liver and kidney function, blood lipid and blood glucose were performed.Cys-C,UA and SI were determined. The data were analyzed and processed by statistical software.Results:1.There was no significant difference in sex composition, age, heart rate and BMI among the groups(P>0.05).There were significant differences in systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure between the control group and the control group at the same altitude(P<0.05).2.The levels of Cys-C,UA and SI in A2 and B2 groups were significantly higher than those in the control group at the same altitude(P<0.05).The levels of Cys-C,UA and SI in B1 and B2 groups were significantly higher than those in A1 and A2 groups(P<0.05).3.At the same altitude, with the increase of blood pressure grades, the levels of Cys-C and UA increased gradually, and there were significant differences in Cys-C and UA among different levels of blood pressure(P<0.05),but there was no significant difference in SI among all levels of blood pressure(p>0.05).At different altitude, the levels of Cys-C,UA and SI in B2 group were significantly higher than those in A2 group(P <0.05).4.The serum Cys-C and UA in groups A2 and B2 were positively correlated with SBP and DBP in EH patients, and the correlation was higher in SBP than in DBP.There was no significant correlation between SI and SBP in groups A2 and B2,but a weak positive correlation between SI and DBP.Conclusion:1.Hypoxic environment has an effect on the serum levels of Cys-C,UA and SI in patients with EH.The higher the altitude is,the more obvious the hypoxia and hypobaric pressure is.2.The changes of serum Cys-C,UA and SI levels accelerated the occurrence and development of EH under the influence of hypoxia environment. The higher the altitude, the more obvious the hypoxia and hypobaric pressure.3.The levels of serum Cys-C,UA and SI are related to the occurrence and development of EH.Serum Cys-C and UA are related to the severity of blood pressure, but SI is not related to the severity of blood pressure.4.Serum Cys-C and UA were positively correlated with SBP and DBP in patients with EH,and the correlation was greater in SBP than in DBP.SI was weakly positively correlated with DBP in patients with EH,but not with SBP.
