Objective To develop a multi-center scientific research cloud platform that can be used for early diagnosis of tracheobronchial tuberculosis(TBTB)and verify its feasibility to facilitate multi-center clinical trials.Methods The study of early diagnosis of tracheobronchial tuberculosis is a multicenter prospective cohort study for newly diagnosed pulmonary tuberculosis patients.On the basis of cooperation with YiDuCloud,according to the data management process of this clinical study,we designed the platform from the aspects of setting the function module of the platform,designing the electronic case report form,constructing the standard fields and question groups,standardizing the data,improving the follow-up system,and setting the user authority.The platform was used to export the clinical data of newly diagnosed pulmonary tuberculosis patients admitted to our hospital as of January 31,2020 for statistical analysis,to analyze the function of the platform and evaluate its application and operation effect in clinical trials.Results After multiple improvements,the design of 11 electronic case report forms and the construction of 16 question groups were completed according to the different stages of the research program.We have successfully established the multi-center scientific research cloud platform for early diagnosis of TBTB.The platform has data collection,follow-up management,statistical analysis and other functions,now this platform is operating steadily.The sub-centers are continuously accumulating enrolled cases.There are currently 27 units participating in this study.Through the data export function of the platform,we obtained the complete and standard data of the patients in the active bronchoscopy examination group of our hospital.A total of 23 newly diagnosed pulmonary tuberculosis patients were included in the active bronchoscopy examination group in our hospital,12(52%)patients in this group were diagnosed with TBTB till now,the ratio of men to women was 1:3.Most patients were in the early stages of the disease.Conclusions This multi-center prospective study may provide a reliable reference for the early diagnosis of TBTB.We have successfully established the multi-center scientific research cloud platform for early diagnosis of TBTB,which has high application value for carrying out multi-center clinical research.
