Objective: To explore the role of auditory brainstem response I,III,V wave latency and each wave interval in the degree and prognosis of hearing loss in patients with sudden sensorineural hearing loss. Methods: A total of 225 cases of SSNHL patients were collected, the data of each wave of the auditory brainstem response in the affected ear and the unaffected ear were collected, and the demographic and clinical data of the patients were collected and sorted, using SPSS 22.0 software to analyze its relationship with SSNHL.Results: The age,TG,HDL-C,and BMI levels of patients have a significant impact on the degree of hearing loss(P<0.05),and logistic regression analysis shows that age is an important risk factor for the degree of hearing loss.Age,time of diagnosis, history of hypertension, presence of dizziness, type of initial hearing curve, degree of hearing loss, blood glucose(mmol/L),HDL-C(mmol/L),Hcy(μmol/L),and BMI all have a significant impact on the efficacy of treatment(P<0.05),and the time of onset is an important influencing factor for treatment efficacy. The latency of ABR Ⅰ,Ⅲ,and Ⅴwaves on the affected ear(1.76±0.18 ms,4.04±0.22 ms,5.90±0.32ms)is longer than that on the healthy ear(1.70±0.12 ms,3.96±0.16 ms,5.80±0.27ms),and the result is statistically significant(P<0.05).The latency of ABR Ⅰ,Ⅲ,and Ⅴ waves on the affected ear is related to the degree of hearing loss and the treatment effect, and the result is statistically significant(P<0.05).The ABR Ⅰ,Ⅲ,and Ⅴ wave elicitation rates on the affected ear were 70%,75%,and 77%,respectively,lower than those on the normal ear(100%),but the elicitation rates increased after treatment. And the length of the I-wave latency of the affected ear is an important risk factor for the degree and efficacy of hearing loss. Conclusion: 1.The latency of ABR waves Ⅰ,Ⅲ,and Ⅴ on the affected ear of SSNHL patients is longer than that on the healthy ear.2.The longer the latency of ABR waves Ⅰ,Ⅲ,and Ⅴ on the affected ear of SSNHL patients, the more severe the degree of hearing loss and the poorer the treatment effect.3.The latency of ABR wave Ⅰ on the affected ear of patients is closely related to the degree of hearing loss and treatment efficacy. The longer the latency of ABR wave Ⅰ,the more severe the degree of hearing loss and the poorer the treatment effect.4.The ABR wave elicitation rate of SSNHL patients after treatment is higher than that before treatment. |
