Objective: To observed the clinical effect of heat-sensitive moxibustion in the treatment of blood stasis type lumbar disc herniation by means of randomized controlled study,in order to provide reference for further theoretical research and clinical practice. Methods: This study was a single blind randomized controlled trial.60 cases of blood stasis type lumbar disc herniation were selected from the first Department of bone and moxibustion center of Xiamen Hospital of traditional Chinese Medicine Affiliated to Fujian University of traditional Chinese medicine from January 2019 to December 2019,and were randomly divided into the experimental group(30 cases)and the control group(30 cases). The experimental group found the heat sensitive points in the points of high fever heat sensitivity(Ashi point Shenshu daliangshu Weizhong Geshu),selected more than three heat sensitive points for heat sensitive moxibustion treatment, the treatment time was about 30minutes(the disappearance of moxibustion sensation was degree),once a day,one month as a course of treatment;the control group was in the point location group(Ashi point Shenshu daliangshu Weizhong Geshu)use mild moxibustion method, each moxibustion is about 10-15minutes(the skin is red),once a day,one month for a course of treatment.Oswestry dysfunction index,JOA score,VAS score and clinical effect were compared before and after treatment.Spss20.0 software was used to process the data.Result:1.Comparison of general conditions: there was no significant difference between the two groups in gender, age and course of disease((P>0.05);2.Comparison of Oswestry dysfunction index: there was statistical difference between the two groups before and after treatment(P<0.05),and the improvement of the experimental group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05);3.Comparison of JOA scores: there was statistical difference between the two groups before and after treatment(P<0.05),and the improvement of the experimental group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05);4.VAS score comparison: there was statistical difference between the two groups before and after treatment(P<0.05),and the improvement of the experimental group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05);5.Clinical efficacy comparison of TCM symptoms: the total effective rate of the experimental group was 93.33%,higher than 70% of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion: The use of heat sensitive moxibustion or mild moxibustion can improve the patients' pain, lumbar activity and quality of life.It is an effective treatment plan for blood stasis type lumbar disc herniation, and the effect of heat sensitive moxibustion in pain, lumbar activity and quality of life is better than that of mild moxibustion. The treatment method is simple and has few adverse reactions, which can be used for clinical reference Further study.
