Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of gymnastics exercise combined with lower limb suspension traction in prone position in the treatment of adolescent idiopathic scoliosis,so as to provide theoretical basis for clinical application.Method: A total of 60 patients with AIS were selected from the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology,Xiamen Hospital of traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2019 to December 2019.The 60 patients were randomly divided into experimental group(n=30)and control group(n=30).The experimental group was treated with gymnastics exercise combined with lower limb suspension traction in prone position, while the control group was treated only with lower limb suspension traction in prone position. The treatment period of both groups was 8 weeks. The general data of the two groups before and after treatment and the visual analog score of pain(VAS),Cobb angle and parietal vertebral rotation(AVR)before and after treatment were collected. The changes of VAS score,Cobb angle and AVR were evaluated after 4 and 8 weeks of treatment.Chi-square test was used to compare the sex of the two groups with SPSS26.0 statistical software, and independent sample t-test was used for age, height and weight in accordance with normal distribution.Single factor repeated measurement analysis of variance(ANOVA)was used to compare the observation indexes between the two groups before and after treatment.Results:1.Baseline analysis: There was no significant difference in general data,VAS score,Cobb angle and rotation of parietal vertebra between the two groups before treatment.2.VAS score comparison: The VAS scores of the two groups after treatment were lower than those before treatment, except that there was no significant difference in the control group at 4 weeks after treatment(P>0.05),but there were significant differences in other treatment periods(P<0.05).At the end of the course of treatment, the decrease of VAS score in the test group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).3.Cobb angle comparison: After treatment, the Cobb angle of the two groups was lower than that before treatment, and there was significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).At the end of the course of treatment, the decrease of Cobb angle in the test group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).4.(AVR)comparison of rotation of parietal vertebrae: The AVR of patients in both groups after treatment was lower than that before treatment, but there was no significant difference between the two groups at 4 weeks after treatment(P>0.05),but there was significant difference between 8 weeks after treatment and before treatment and 4 weeks after treatment(P<0.05).At the end of the course of treatment, the decrease of AVR in the experimental group was greater than that in the control group, but there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).5.Comparison of clinical efficacy: The cure rate of the test group was 7.1%,and the improvement rate was 75.0%.The cure rate of the control group was 3.5%,and the improvement rate was 51.7%.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion: Gymnastic exercise combined with lower limb suspension traction in prone position in the treatment of adolescent idiopathic scoliosis can not only improve the pain of patients and correct coronal scoliosis, but also has a certain effect in correcting vertebral rotation with high safety.
