Objective:To observe the efficacy of the prone position lower limb suspension traction method combined with the spine orthosis in the treatment of adolescent idiopathic scoliosis.and to provide a theoretical basis for optimizing the treatment plan. Methods:All subjects in this study were from the cases collected by the orthopaedic clinic at the Xiamen Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine.Cases were collected from December 2016 to June 2017.30 patients with mild to moderate adolescent idiopathic scoliosis who met the screening criteria for this subject were selected. The 30 patients were randomly divided into two groups(experimental group and control group)by using random number table method.Among them,15 patients in the experimental group were treated with the suspension traction of lower limbs in the prone position and spine orthosis.Control group of 15 patientswere treated with spine orthosis. There was no significant difference in general clinical data(gender, age, height, height, weight)and initial observations between the experimental group and the control group(P<0.05).All patients were photographed before surgery,3 months after treatment, and 6 months after treatment. All patients were photographed with standing vertebral full-length.lateral radiographs and pelvic radiographs. The same group of physicians measured, recorded Cobb's angle, apical vertebral body rotation.and Risser's sign. Before and after treatment, all patients were scored using the Scoliosis Research Society-22 Questionnaire Scale to assess the improvement of mental health and quality of life of patients. All data were analyzed under SPSS 20.0 statistics.Results:Twenty-seven patients completed the six-month follow-up of this study.Three patients(two in the experimental group and one in the control group)were excluded from the treatment due to failure to wear the spinal orthosis as required during treatment. The results of those three cases were not included in the final results for statistical analysis.? Cobb angle:compared with before treatment, the results of the experimental group were statistically different after 3 months(P<0.05),and there was no statistical difference between the control group(P>0.05);the results of the experimental group and the control group were statistically significant after 6 months.Difference(P<0.05).? Efficacy evaluation and statistics:the experimental group improved for 8 patients, the improvement rate was 61.54%.the stability was 5.and the stabilization rate was 38.24%;the control group improved 3,the improvement rate was 21.43%,the stability was 11 and the stability rate was 78.57%;neither group had been cured, progressed or failed cases.? Apical vertebral rotation:compared with before treatment, the results of the experimental group after 3 months were statistically significant(P<0.05),and there was no statistical difference between the control group(P>0.05);after 6 months, the results of the two groups were statistically different(P<0.05).? Scoliosis Research Society-22 scale scores:Compared with before treatment, patients in the experimental group had statistically significant differences in functional activity and pain(P<0.05),and there was no statistical difference in self-image and mental health(P>0.05).The control group was only in terms of pain. There was statistical difference(P<0.05),and there was no statistical difference in the other three aspects(P>0.05).At the end of treatment, the two groups of patients were compared in terms of treatment satisfaction, and the results were statistically significant(P<0.05).The average satisfaction of treatment in the experimental group was higher than that of the control group. Conclusion:Prone position lower limb suspension traction combined with spine orthosis is more effective than adolescent orthosis in short-term efficacy of adolescent idiopathic scoliosis, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
