Objective:To analyze the status of medical treatment of diabetic patients in Shijiazhuang,the capital of Hebei Province;To explore the factors which affecting the medical behavior of diabetic patients and the problems in the process of medical treatment;To provide scientific reference for relevant health departments to formulate diabetes prevention and treatment policies and medical security policies.Methods:A total of 480 diabetic cases in Shijiazhuang City,Hebei Province were surveyed by using a self-designed questionnaire,Medical Behavior Questionnaire.Epidata3.1 was used for data entry and SPSS 22.0 statistical software was used for statistical analysis.Results:1.The probabilities of delay in visiting a diabetic patient are 44.93%.Educational level,judgment of disease patterns,region,family income,diabetes complications and disease awareness are independent influencing factors that affect the timing of consultation;2.The proportion of primary and secondary medical institutions selected by diabetic patients for primary diagnosis is 43.83% and 56.17%,respectively.Economic conditions,chronic disease subsidies,and family doctor signing are the main influencing factors for the selection of primary medical institutions;3.The two-week outpatient utilization rate and the one-year hospitalization rate for diabetes patients are 14.76% and 12.11%,respectively.Chronic disease subsidies are the main influencing factors for the utilization of health services.Whether the symptoms worsen within two weeks and the affordability of medical expenses are independent factors affecting the utilization of outpatient services.Influencing factors;Diabetes complications and annual average treatment costs are independent influencing factors that affect the utilization of inpatient services;4.The probability of taking medication,reviewing,and changing the lifestyle of a diabetic patient is 63.22%,38.99% and 24.67%,respectively.Education level is the main influencing factor of compliance behavior.Age and region are independent influencing factors of compliance behavior.Region is an independent influencing factor for compliance review;age and average annual treatment costs are independent influencing factors for lifestyle changes.Conclusions:1.The diabetic patients have delayed medical treatment.It is suggested to strengthen the health education of diabetes patients and the importance of timely treatment.2.The first diagnosis of diabetic patients is more inclined to choose secondary and Tertiary-level medical institutions.To improve the professional ability,technical level and service quality of general practitioners and promote the signing of family doctors,it helps to promote the first visit of patients at the grass-roots level.3.Diabetic patients have unreasonable use of health services,we should increase the subsidy to patients with financial difficulties,psychological support and social support.4.Diabetic patients showed poor compliance.Health education should be provided according to the patients' age and education level,and follow-up of patient compliance.
