Objective: Through statistical line elderly patients with colorectal cancer(CRC)after radical surgery clinical and pathological data,to explore a different part of elderly patients with colorectal cancer in our distribution and change trend, compare different anatomical site clinical pathological characteristics of colorectal cancer, provide the basis for correct understanding and mastery of colorectal cancer, also in order to further study the pathogenesis of colorectal cancer and its diagnosis and treatment. Methods: The selected case data were all from elderly patients who underwent CRC radical surgery in the second department of surgery, the fourth hospital of Hebei Medical University from June 2013 to June2018,and the postoperative pathological data of these patients were coll ected.Patients with incomplete postoperative pathological data were excl uded.By referring to relevant literature and combining with clinical dat a,the patient's age, gender,CRC growth site, pathological type, tumor s ize and other clinical data were calculated.SPSS 24.0 statistical softwar e was used to analyze the collected data.Where P<0.05 indicates statist ical significance. Results: There were 316 elderly patients aged 65 years and above with colorectal cancer.1.The results of this study showed that the ratio of male to female in elderly colorectal cancer patients was 1.27:1,and there was no significant difference in gender composition ratio among all age groups(P=0.46> 0.05).However,the majority of patients in all age groups were males.2.In this group, there was no significant difference in the composition ratio of tumor sites of different genders(P> 0.05),but basically, male patients with different tumor sites were more than female patients.3.There was no statistical difference between different tumor sites in each age group(P> 0.05),but the incidence of rectum and sigmoid colon was high in each age group.4.There were statistically significant differences in general tumor types among different age groups in this group(P < 0.05),of which ulcer type 276 cases accounted for 87.3%,and uplift type 40 cases accounted for 12.7%.5.The difference in tumor size in each age group was statistically significant(P=0.009 < 0.05).There were 157 cases in group a,among which 71 cases with tumor size of 3-5cm accounted for 45.3%.There were 84 cases in group b,among which 39 cases with tumor < 3cm accounted for 46.4%.There were 44 cases in group c,among which 23 cases with tumor < 3cm accounted for 52.3%.There were 31 cases in group d,among which 16 cases with tumor size of 3-5cm accounted for 51.6%.The tumor size in each age group was mainly < 5cm.6.There was no statistical difference in the pathological types among all age groups(P> 0.05),but the proportion of adenocarcinoma in all age groups was significantly higher than mucinous adenocarcinoma and others.7.There was no significant difference in the proportion of main symptoms among patients in different age groups in this group(P=0.94 > 0.05).Among them,108 cases of blood stool accounted for 34.18%,70 cases of bowel habit change accounted for 22.15%,64 cases of abdominal pain and abdominal distension accounted for 20.25%,19 cases of intestinal obstruction accounted for 6.01%,and 55 cases of diarrhea accounted for 17.41%.The main symptom composition ratio in each age group was blood stools, but the difference was not statistically significanConclusion:1.Rectum and sigmoid colon are the most common sites of colorectal cancer in the elderly. When malignant tumors are highly suspected, digital rectal examination and sigmoidoscopy screening should be strengthened.2.The tumors of colorectal cancer in the elderly are less than 5cm in most cases, and the pathological types are mainly well-differentiated adeno carcinoma. Therefore,in the face of the elderly patients, the active and effective comprehensive treatment measures should be adopted under the condition of fully evaluating the physical conditions.3.Although the results in elderly patients with colorectal cancer than men and women constitute the differences of no statistical significance(P < 0.05),but basically more men than women patients in all age groups,so when the elderly male patients with gastrointestinal symptoms(such as a change in stool, defecate habit),should be actively intestinal malignant tumor screening.
